Wolfram Harms
Early in the video, you can see test shots with ball ammunition on to a part of a ship's hull. Later on, there are also tests with chain and grape ammunition. Very interesting stuff! Enjoy!

Ned Loe
Admin. Is it possible to make few minor improvements taken from this video? They can Beautify Naval Action and add more reality feel to it. 1. Smoke coming out of hole after penetration. (Why? Players can see where they penetrated hull). Add small puff effect 1-2 seconds over damage hole texture. 2. Fireball inside smoke cloud for 3-5 seconds after firing (Look at Image n4) . 3. Splinters variety. ex. vs I think smoke needs to be more brighter. Burning black powder should light up the whole smoke cloud making it (white/brighter). Also you guys need to add larger flash + fireball. Not orange like you have it right now, but white to bright yellow transition. Current smoke is very dull. Don't you think?

Snoopy
Yeah don't make the mistake of making muzzle flashes visible. Your brain filters them out in daylight.
