Creating a clan , and benefits

What are the benefits , if any, to a group creating a clan? What exactly does it do for a group? Did a search, and cant seem to find much info on this. Thanks.

Clan chat in game, a clan identity attached to your name in battles. Those are the game mechanic benefits. Not really much more at this stage.

 

Ofc I assume you're not asking what the benefits of being in a clan are. Those be obvious.

There is no benefit atm. Right now clan is just a basic foundation with nothing in it. 

 

In future we might see:

 

-Clan warehouse

-Clan Missions

-Clan Wallet 

-Clan Rep

 

etc..

 

It all depends on devs and what priorities they have.

This, plus a group of players who hopefully share your goals and want the same thing out of the game that you do, whether it be trading, large fleet battles, or squadron level PVP.

Ahh, Ok. Thank you for the response. This is what I was driving at. We have a pretty regular group that plays together and were wondering if this had the possibility of going that way.
