I get some high income ports might pay more in Reals, but is the other stuff off investments or something? Than you have to deal with Privateer fleets in the area too. You can check what a port raid mission will pay out when you hover over the chest symbol with your mouse when in mission tab in port.
And yes Victory + combat medals are tied to investmentlvl of the port while reals seem to be tax income.
It was said by admin that we are supposed to do more than one mission in order to make it worth for 6 people grow. But still when you would to the mission of the first pic 6 times it's actual nothing and not justifying the risk Vs reward. The value of repairs is more than the payoff.
That's why I suggest that those missions are even not generated because they are fake or they should scale with reward.
For example instead of the 1*first rate 2*2nd and 3*3rd rates and a grp size of 6 players and max allowed ship rank 1st rate the grp size could be limited by 2 players and player max ship rank could be 5th rate. The defense fleet will consist of 1*4rd rate and 2*5rates.

Those are 2 different ports. Both have different reward. The First mission is a fake mission wasting player time and in my opinion shouldnt even be generated like this by the game and given out as mission. What gouverneur would get such a fleet to protect such an unimportant port?
But what if....
...the composition of the defending fleet would actual scale with the payout as well? This way such timewasting missions could actual become a nice spontaneous evening activity. Maybe even restrict the max rate a player can bring to such a mission.

Situation:
A friend and I decided to do a player port raid but because we were just 2 we agreed on one will kite the Ai while the other will pull close to the Hulk and cut it free. So far so good everything worked fine. My friend lured the Ai into a trap while I could sneak up on the Indiaman. I cought the Indiaman crew unprepared and they surrendered. To my surprise my crew would not want to go onboard of said Hulk and rig an emergency rig on it (no [X] appeared - and before some will ask we both made it available for all)
So it seems mechanic is like you need to kill the Ai warships in order to access the Hulk.
Now to the game mechanic griefing part
It is not possible to leave this mission. The only ways out are by winning, surrendering or staying in battle the whole duration of the battle time. It is not possible to sail away and retreat. Like proper raiders would do when they would notice that their mission failed.

On PvP Its so only the 2 closest ports can be attacked. So it dosent make sense to try pulling the missions in the ports you mentioned because they are not even close to the port you want to attack. The closest Freeports would be Great corn and Dariena. But both are more than 2 ports away. My guess is that you cant take any mission for conception when you dont own one of the spanish ports there or you would need to try great corn or dariena when mechanic of 2 ports is different to the one on PvP server.

Dont make the mistake to compare Mantua prices at your national capital. Visit Tumbado and compare with Mantua. Mantua will be cheaper.

Dο you ever feel jealous of the Russians, because they can hunt privateer fleets right at their door?
Now you can do the same! Make an outpost at Mantua and hunt the Spanish privateer fleets (10-15mins travel time for an encounter).
The port of Mantua is always supplied with materials for repairing your ship and the most common used guns of all caliber. There is enough Rum for even the thirstiest sailor. And the best of it, it’s half the price compared to Tumbado. The stocks are resupplied on a daily basis. Special seasoned wood offers are made by local merchants.

You can obtain the bp when killing privateer fleets. Wooden chests have the chance to drop tools + the blueprint for tools

In NA Legends you picked a Flag. That flag was displayed for you and for your whole team (but only visual for yourself). Event hough someone else might have picked a different nation flag.
Example:
- Player A - picked US Flag
- Player B picked the spanish flag
- Both end up in the same team both see their flag choice as their team flag.
- The enemy flag is one of the remaining 10 flags. So for Player A it could look like he is vs Spain while for his team mate it looks like he is fighting US.
That would allow to implement a ton of new nations (flags) While the actual game nations could be splitted into 3 blocks. Red blue and purple
So char creation could look like:
Join Team Blue, Red or purple
---> picked Team purple
Choose your flag
----> picked chinese
