On the subject of things like Mikasa, she was built in the UK for the Japanese as were others by all sorts of navies for all sorts of navies. Are there any plans to have a function where we can build ships for other nation - like they offer a contract with certain requirements and it can give u money or affect relations. Also being able to sell your older ships to smaller nations as well

In fairness atm the stated number of crew seems to be irrelevant. I launched 3 bb with only 12 people in the crew pool and still was able to fully crew them (they will launch as mothballed but u can add the crew) it seems crew training tab is mainly just upping the skill level (to veteran which doesn't seem right) also if u need crew there is a little cheeky exploit, just lay down say 10 bb then scrap them at 0% and there crew will be added to the pool it gives u like 10-12k crew lol

I think what they're referring to is the fact that the remaining time doesn't appear until the bar is a certain way across on the research bout 60% id say (that is completely off the top of my head estimate fyi)

8 I'm afraid I disagree. Don't get me wrong I liked to edit the save file as well but they they have clearly stated that it causes more bugs which hinders feedback which is the point of early access testing. Now when the game goes fully live I agree they should unlock it and allow modding but it's just not ready yet

When look at your ship list in the campaign just click or double click on the ships name and type in a new 1, I personally like to add a prefix as well like hms or sms as well -

You can already rename ships, only instance where I don't think you can is if u make more than 1 of a class in quick battles you can name the leader only I think in campaign you can name all ships -

In fairness, the last update they added like 58 new hulls. I predict they will add a fair few new hulls with this one too - in fact if you read the OP in this thread the last sentence about new hulls is "More hulls will be added" -

^^dont disregard I personally consider that a major issue - problem is because they keep returning to port I cant keep them at see on protect and I just lose all my transports, my last attempt at a campaign I managed to survive for just over 2 years with my crew training and research at 0 because within few turns you've lost so many its ridiculous. That campaign I postyed above as well with my 24 vs 100s 3 turns in and my transports are at 89% already thats the other reason its such a problem -

My ships werent overly expensive all but 4 of my cruisers were as cheap and S*%t as i could make them and 5 of my battleships were barely pre-dreadnought standard and then my first fight was 4 BBs vs 2 BB, 4 BC, 4 CA, 8 CL and 6 DDs it doesnt even matter how cheap and cheerful they are because they just flooded the see with torpedoes I had no chance -

So heres what I mean about the returning to port issue My battlecruiser were intercepted by a large enemy force while going where I need them so I avoided combat, but low and behold they are now back in port (hamburg no less so ive got to sail them all the way around denmark again to get them back to the fighting. Also started a new campaign after the latest patch and the starting funds are still very very low meaning I could only build 24 ships where as the 3 enemies I have to fight have a combined total of 279. The brits have almost as many capital ships as I have total fleet -

dont know if this is a bug or intended but if you put out say for example 3 task forces of 5 ships they keep merging into 1 big task force even if they are placed relatively far apart. Whats worse is as I said before after any battle win or lose all the ships rtb which means I can have basically my entire fleet rtb after a nothing encounter because theyve all merged into 1 group -
So it seems after any battle a task force will return to port. Eg I had a battle with my 4 cl that had a meeting engagement with 3 tbs destroyed them all taking no damage but yet still they went back to port (1 to a far away port as well) but there was no reason for them to rtb. Its the same with any task force after any battle win or lose damage or not
