  1. He literally said that all saves would be reset.
  2. I think that unlocking hull designs would be a good way to relieve this issue. Afterall, it's not like this is a 100% historical thing where you have to use actual ship designs. Why shouldn't the Germans be able to copy what the French are doing? Or the Spanish? (This mostly because I want to use the mini-dreadnought with 4 side-gun cutouts that they have for a battleship and heavy cruiser)
  3. There are cases, historically, where ships were made longer or shorter. I don't know about wider or narrower, but it's possible. Entire superstructures were changed in some cases, such as the Arizona going from her cage-masts to her tripod masts in 1929. There are also cases of armor being added or taken away. Yes, the more intensive it is the longer and more expensive it should be, but it should also still be less expensive and time-consuming than making an entirely new ship in most cases.
  4. So the accuracy is now accurate to real life, then. Get better crew training and fire control systems and start moving at your cruising speed instead of at flanking speed. 6 kilometers I have 100% accuracy with Mk 3 16" tripples if I've got a stable enough ship, 75% crew training, and stereoscopic V in 1930. Before 1930 gun accuracy was abysmal outside of where the gunners could fire over open sights.
  5. I believe that course-change time is rudder-shift, so how fast can they change from going port to starboard.
  6. Thanks for getting the patch out! The ability to change the beam and drought isn't very useful. I can't increase the width enough to add on any of the larger side guns on most of the hulls. Additionally you can't click on the values and edit them directly. The values that they modify aren't represented in the normal stats, but rather are only shown in their own stat. Additionally, the increase/decrease of beam/drought modifies the maximum tonnage of the ship, rather than modifying just the actual weight of the ship. If you're going to modify the maximal tonnage, I'd prefer to not have limits on how large of a ship I can built past my drydock's size. While following a ship, if you hover over anything with a tooltip it locks the camera in place and prevents you from returning to the ship until the tooltip is gone. I would like to request the ability to use mouse-wheel to modify the rudder degree by 1º at a time if the courser is hovering over the control. Either that or the ability to manually input a rudder degree.
  7. I'd also like to be able to build Indiana Class battleships and the St. Louis class Armored Cruisers. I can't even build half of either with the way things are. The Indiana Class was layed down in 1891 2 × twin 13 in guns 4 × twin 8 in guns 4 × 6 in guns (until 1908) 12 × 3 in guns (after 1908) 20 × 6-pounder 57 mm (2.2 in) guns 6 × 1-pounder 37 mm (1.5 in) guns and 4 × 18 inch (450 mm), semi-underwater, torpedo tubes and had Harvy armor for her 18 inches of mid-belt armor ~8.5 inch of bow/stern belt 15 inches on the turrets and 5 in for the hull Then she had Nickle-Steel for her Conningtower at 10 inches secondary turrets' 6 inches and 3 inches of deck armor for all sections. As it stands, the first actual battleships the U.S. ever had are impossible to build, just looking at guns and armor. Not even looking at their 22 kn speed or any subsystems.
  8. I would like to request that sextuple gun turrets be added. I wish to create a Tillman II "Maximum Battleship." I'd also like Bofors gun mounts to replace the 2" gun mounts for the American ships, unless you're going to add an actual 40mm gun at some point.
