Can anyone explain the logic behind the decision to keep starting dates behind a "play the game and win campaigns" gate? I'm far more interested in playing games around the 19-teens and twenties than I am 1890. Why can't I?

I don't want multiplayer added - it will only distract from the SP game, and I no longer play MP after too many negative experiences with it. Steve.
