  2. i felt im sailing a locean but the reality gave me a lesson soon.... i did my best... had 16 hull hit before sunk
  3. first battle nothing special however their LOceans were really hard targets no final result - just a screenshot my second broadside (first was a badly managed chain) - 41 hits 27 leaks second battle we were outnumbered and outgunned and some of us had only few repairs
  4. You were 6 not 5. The clanless Indef player was asked multiple times to sail straight to us. He had only one chance to reach us and we could escort him out. He started turning and all of your ships get in range. He used his sail repair too early. If he had been captured (after he started turning we did not give a chance to avoid that) while we are sailing against the wind (BANZAIN vector 10-15 min) to reach him soon we would found ourself in a 6vs2 situation (+Snow who was a clanless new player too).
  5. Its just an example against the target magnet (LGV is that) contra argument. I see as pro one. Nobody cares about LGV if noticed on OW. Loner PvE warship usually tries to run away from a Surprise but not from an LGV. So u can get your fight.

The best ship for Solo Hunting is: LGV With smuggler flag on you can dock any port revenge fleet pointless if u are able to dock their port can take pause anywhere can repair cheap can sell the loot 3 knowledge already open Can be fast as the surprise Better turning Better sailing profile 1900 cargo means the repairs wont make you slower Fewer guns but u have crew for Marines Can buy almost anywhere a new ship

  9. Hard to fight against you with a mixed group and without communication. Your only lost ship was damaged by LosingStreak and finished by me. After that we were separated. However he demasted Dinark, he had to sail away for a while, becuase his ship was badly damaged. I followed the group leader call (that was bad one order anyway) to focus on Mariachi instead of finishing off Dinark. Then I made a bad move (should go for Dinark instead of following bad orders) and found myself between the shore and against the Essex and BP. However Ive started the boarding the Essex was on 100% prep and had better moral and after near 20 cycle I was captured. And I miss our previous fight from two day earlier. 4vs5 where you lost all of your ship (2 sunken, 2 captured - 1 loss at our side) Next time

From 1000 resource will be reduced to 251. 0,7 is to drastical and 0,9 has no enough effect.
  11. I dont think that its a self-shining topic. Its just a fun-made story about hunting. And the trophies that they were collected are really impressive. However near half of the battles were not too hard, but there are some where i cant take my bet to them. I like if somebody bring the fight to my door. Just simply have to dock out the harbour and can begin the dance . But if you brought more than 1st rates you will not get your fight. One is good as bait, especially when is escorted only frigattes. Two seems to hard so you will have to wait too much time. More than two will scare the people and nobody will fight with you at all.
  12. Nope, we need number. That 1 extra knots means we will not able to defend the damaged side. And against the fast circleing carronade fregattes any damaged ship will be dead soon. Currently with 75% mast your 1st rates were as fast as ours.
  13. Yep, social skill is must have anyone who wandering around. We were hunting to Frech around Carupano when heard that you are appered again near Willemstadt with two 1st rates. Start to sail back to LaOrchilla, that was half hour. Your first engagement, near Las Aves, was finished when we arrived. We teleported back to Willemstadt, docked out and started to sail to Las Aves, and we can join the second one engagement. That was great fight. However your setup does not give any chance a not orginazed mixed frigattes group. Number doesnt matters. Few days ago, when we fought near Coro, our frigattes, all of them killed themself when went close to Victory. Nobady cares with yout Belles except me. We could win that fight. If the smaller ships keep the range from the 1st rate and when all her escort were sunken then, and only after then should go for the bigger prize. GG we will seek the battle with you, lots of fun to sunk and be sunken
  14. Hi Captains, I had some problem with the current crafting system, especially the Random BPO dropping method. I know the latest patch will modify this "random" logic, but i think that is not enough, for me at least. I would like to propose a much more interesting and complex crafing system.In this visions, the players can set goals, can reach them in different ways, and eventually can specialize themself in many different final carfting knowledge. Because of compatibility reasons I used the current crafting level system as Crafing Point (CP), and tried to balance it corresponding to the current leveling progress. However I think in this solution the reachable crafting level should not be limited. An another big change there is no random special attributes. Every crafter may chose up to 2 attributes corresponding his own skills, but this is not necessery. Maybe a little random modification could be acceptable in the final level, to simulate the unpredictable drunken labors. WARNING: This is a quick and dirty suggestion, so it may be unbalanced, but i think its more than enough for starting a little brainstroming. I hope the developer team are already thinking some similar solution. There is FOUR crafting Area. - Woodworking: The crafter may specialize their ship manufacture for different kind of woods and may specialize to the related ship attributes of the woods. - Basic Ship: The crafter may unlock and imprve all the basic ships - Frigate: The crafter may unlock and improve all the frigates - Ship of Line: The crafter may unlock all the 3rd, 2nd, 1st rate ship The number in red circle means how many CP could be spent. The dotted line means there are no craftable ship, just prerequisite for something or unlock things. The red background is minimal CP level requirement to unlock the higher level ship hulls. The arrow represent a dependency path. To craft a ship at a specified level all the previous hull should be at least on that level. The crafting note in this solution working the current way, but - CP 1 cost ships could be crafted any quality at will - CP 3 max cost ship could be crafted basic on level 1, common or fine on level 2, and finally at level 3 up to exceptional - CP 5 max cost ship could be crafted basic on level 1, after that each extra CP point unlock a higher quality level till the exceptional at CP level 5 - The woodworkings give a limit to the maximumum level of ship extra attributes. For example CP level 3 on Oak log limit the craftable ship to fine in the case of Oak material. CP 3 on speed limit the reachable Speed buff to blue. For example: If someone want to craft "perfect" Tricomalee (lvl5 both the Speed and the Build Strength and would like to use Live Oak as material) should spend 55 carfing point. - 5-5 CP Fir woodworking and another five for Speed - 5-5 CP Oak woodworking and another five for Build Strength - 5 CP Live Oak - 1-1-1-1-1 CPs (Lynx-Cutter-Brig-Snow-Frigate) to unlock Figate class hulls - 5-5-5-5 (Carberus-Renommee-Frigate) to unlock Tricomalee with possiblke max level - 5 CPs and finally maximized out the Tricomalee This case is a hardly specialized Tricomalee crafter. Spend all the Crafting points to reach only one goal. I think this kind of specialization should be very rare, and the crafter who would like to chose this way should give up many other opoortunities. But finally his/her ships will be precious ones. In the case of Fine Cerberus for PvE tanking (blue one with blue Build Str and Planking from Live Oak) - 3-3-3 CP for Oak Log and for both the related tanking attribute - 3 CP Live Oak - 1-1-1-1-1 to unlock Frigate class hull - 3 for Cerberus 20 CP (currently level 17) This way shoul be common. In this case for 1 extra CP on Snow the one could craft fine snow at level 13 from Oak, and 16 from Live Oak. BR
