Ekhm, more seriously, no one will use his photos as wallpaper with his nicknames on it...
I wouldnt mind if someone used my vanilla images as wallpaper thats more like a confirmation they are nice to look at. I dont get it.

I like this thread, thats why I have contributed a few pics. However, may I suggest you add the source (name of the original poster) to the pics you compile in this thread ?
If you really looked at the pictures you might have noticed that i give credit on every single picture - except the vanilla ones which were made by me. Actually even all your submissions are credited.
I would apprechiate unedited screenshots though for better results. Just hide the UI via CTRL+H.
I might eventually crop the images, optimize the filesize and watermark them if its that important for you.
Could you do me a favour and take a few new pics of your Trincomalee - Brest Harbor, Cerberus - Carota and BellePoule - Black Chequer? preferably without UI

As far as i remember there was a legit question why only these kind of ships - its because they are the only ones with published skins yet according to the info the devs give out.And as requested Vanilla Designs were added.

common practise is to get a few comments with *reserved* under a topic just incase you are going to exceed the image limit.
as far as my knowledge goes there is no way to up the limit itself.
Didnt really think about it when i started the topic. any way the mods can help me out here and add some below my initial posting?

most of the picures are from Jeheils "Post your coloured ships here"-post. I am not trying to undermine it, but find the best pictures for the paintjobs for other players to look at.
So please help out by posting the missing paints in sweet quality so i can add them and eventually finish the list. OR if you have better shots of an existing picture please upload as well Feel free to add your ships and feedback in the comments.
To get the best results pls wait for clear weather and daytime. Also use CTRL+H to hide the UI. Imgur galleries are also appreciated.
aim is to have finally pics with the following criteria for each skin :
- high resolution
- no UI
- sunny weatherbest case we have 3 high quality pictures: side profile, slightly from behind and slightly from the front. (like the Vanilla images are)

Strongly disagree. Friendly fire is essential for this game and especially in bigger battles and the ongoing brawls an important factor to pay attention to.

I have unlocked the thread for discussion of this rule change.
Currently, the lead complaint I've heard is the act of attacking a smuggler to prevent people from attacking you. Please add additional comments/concerns to this thread.

Thank you for your time, really apprechiate it. As far as I can see it the problem occours only if a pirate wants to join an already started battle with a national-smuggler involved. I got two proposals to this issue:
1) Disable the Smugglerflag for Warships and only make it only available if you are rocking a trader ( for not switching to warships in enemy port, the flag has to be disabled prior selling the trader you are on or switching to warships)
2) Dont handle the smugglers in battle same as the pirate nation. Allies should be able to join allies, "not at war/not at peace" should be able to join each other, factions at war should not be able to join each other, pirates should be able to join anyone
There is no way I can see how to judge such a thing fairly. If I were to judge, I would say, both are wasting my time and should lose 1 or 2 levels to learn things again.
We really want the game to be able to judge it properly, but then anything that is enemy on OW should be enemy in Battle, same for friends.
Good thing you arent, because i really dont think this is a "waste of time" and dont think you really get the key point - same rules for everyone. The tribunal uncovered two issues: Intentional green on green and the smuggler issue. The latter i wasnt aware of myself till this encounter. Imo we have comparative "easy" solutions for this as for the smuggler issue see the above. But agreed give the devs some time to figure this out.
My only concerns are how this affects fire ships? Does it mean its against the rules for a pre arranged green on green with the intent to start off a fire to then go and explode in the enemy fleet?
"If you are in battle, and a green player in that battle begins to intentionally damage you, put it into Tribunal.[...]" The key word is intentional. Exploding in the enemy fleet is not even green on green, sinking your ship intentionally is not green on green either. Only if you intentionally explode in your own fleet that would be considered green on green and could be brought to tribunal.Edit: I actually misunderstood you there. But as Henry states later on its all about whether somebody brings it to tribunal or not. No plaintiff, no judge.

Now you are just acting juvenile. Even a spoken Strike would be a higher punishment.

what did you lost in that battle ? did you lost your ship ?
how long did you wait in the battle summary screen to avoid desmoines to attack you the right way ?
There arent really so many reoffender who think this is fine as it should be the "same for all". Sailhits happen green on green sometimes - just not in that intentional devestating way. And I am not accountable to anyone. This isnt a discussion its on principle.

One last addendum to make my point clear. To quote a mod:
Friendly fire is punished by an automatic system that issues negative XP and, with enough friendly sinkings, an XP reset and/or the offender being sent to the Pirate faction.
By "only" cripling sails via green on green you will never even get close to a unpleasant punishment through the automatic system and therefore it is an abuse from my point of view. Nobody really cares about a few hundred XP later on. Leveling an officer, losing Duras or even goods is in no comparison. Therefore i opened this tribunal and demand higher punishment - especially if you are a reoffender.

I get that. But I didn't open this thread with purposes for marketing, but giving all players easy access to pictures of the skins since they are rather rare. So dont be mad at me if I rather not use your watermarked pictures since i distinctly asked for natural ones. If you understand that I would be happy if you upload or link some "clean" screenshots so i can add them and credit you.
