  1. I lost a load of dabloons today was trying to split them, I thought I had destroyed them by mistake but someone pointed out you get a reminder before being destroyed. I have no idea where those dubs went, was about 5k of them.

I am not seeking them back just letting you know the exact same thing happened to me, I( would not of reported if I had not seen this post.

There are better options than simple YES/NO.

First, ask yourself why there is surrender option? Well, so the player doesn't have to be forced to stay in battle. It's one of the options to "leave" the battle. Same goes to the traditional "escape" option. Now, these options are one-sided and alternate the way normal AI works. There should be simply 1 option to leave Loki battle and then AI would take back control of the ship. Block Surrender/Escape options and simply add leave options.

I really think if you are going to try and ruin someone's AI battle then there should be a chance its you that gets ruined. I have had so many dickheads in my battles that sail off with the ship or do some other dumb shit to be the biggest pain in the ass possible , the first thing anyone in an AI battle should do now is chain the AI down so when a loki player does enter he cant do anything.

How are they under siege with the homewater fleets protecting the starting area?

The best way to learn pvp is to join a clan that can support you and show you some basics and then go out and sink and learn from it. All of the mentioned veterans did exactly this.

Capitals are generally  camped 24/7 by people in small ships with a BR too low to be attacked by the home fleets.  They then quite often attack a bigger ship, witch means the victim has only 2 mins to get help but the attackers friends have 20 mins to dog pile in.

I just say, if you will be loosing your ship anyway ro a superior enemy, you can give some kind of fight and with every hit gain xp.

If you can escape without firing a gun, it is not bad, and you saved your ship, just without xp.

That is all fine with me.

The best fight you can give someone in a trader is to make them chase after you for an hour or more

  5. Had a loki rune player enter my battle then sail off into the sunset with the AI ship and exit the battle. A bit dumb really,,I knew what was going on the moment the AI ship turned away from the battle. I was not going to bother chasing

So .....why is chain limited ?

do we [{dont]} have to manage that too....????

ohw wait............. it is managed ....sorry

The reason chain was limited was to  take away the ability of noobs to shoot out the sails of the expert gankers and their expensive ships that hang around outside nation capitals. You have be an elite mast sniper if you want to play those sort of games

    Hi,

One of the most unrealistic aspects of NA is the possession of balls > who are unlimited

unless you play with chain double balls or charge where everybody is restricted heavenly (too much)

but ball are unlimited and do not even capsize your ship .lol

or slow  down your ship by weight .

where 10 bananas weigh so much it slows you down  like being  a snake

similar complaint were found randomly on the internet of being one of the complaints at video games in general

but NA posses some of these mechanics too , for example  : the ammunition complain keengamer  TOP 20 UNREALISTIC VIDEO GAME MECHANICS.

    AMMUNITION

Militaries must be developing some incredible technology because Call of Duty and Battlefield will convince you that soldiers can run around with 30 extra magazines, that somehow fit universally into every single rifle ever made, including the foreign weapons wielded by your enemies. Not only that but ejecting a half-empty clip will magically redistribute the leftover ammunition into your remaining arsenal of magazines. Not a single bullet wasted then, admirable.

    and somehow i agree..

let's get rid of those weird mechanics who ad nothing to the believability of a game anno 2020 .

if bananas and coconuts have weight ...

than ball should have weight to.

be realistic about your game.  you play

The question is, how could you possibly limit ammunition in a game that lets people repair so much damage to their ships? Before you even think about reducing ammo you would have to reduce or remove the magic ship repairs that take place in a battle.. We already have the imbalance of limited chain shot but unlimited sail repair.

  8. Some protection for new players around capitals would be good. At the moment the way the battles close everything is set up against the new player and all the advantages stacked on the on the seal clubber. Its pretty shocking to see what goes on if im honest, as long as the noob killer has a smaller ship no one else can help the victim. We all know a 5 rate from a new player has no chance against a smaller ship like a snow in the hands of a good player. Why for the love of god not allow any help for the poor hapless victims being slaughtered. Battles should be open to both sides for the same amount of time.

Also why not allow 6th rate missions to close instantly to at least give new players a fighting chance to get started in a game. I know its a PVP server but new players need  a chance to get started in the game and at the moment its stacked to much against them.

I feel like adding a 1st rate DLC to the game is not such a great idea and if game-labs are trying to accumulate revenue to support their developers there are other ways. Offering a new DLC for around $10-$15 that gives the player the ability to claim an extra tow permit every day doesn't seem like a terrible idea in my eyes. Let me know what you guys think... ^-^

I dont like having one tow in the game let alone two, makes it far to easy to dominate the map

  10. I have sailed for most nations in the game and my findings are.

British.  Big nation lots of people , lots of egos too many clans with just a few people online. Some nice people but some real dicks quite toxic towards new players.at times.

France, Big nation, nice people Zulu one and his clan ZF some of nicest people you can meet, language to much of a problem if your a Euro player though and don’t speak it.

Spain. Same as  France really you meet some real nice people but ultimately language will hinder you if you don’t speak it.

Dutch.  My time there was boring if I’m honest, simply not enough going on, lots of players  new player friendly though.

USA.  Simply no one around in my time zone didn’t hang around long here.

Prussia, pretty toxic, very elite and up,it’s own ass. think they are special but avoid harder fights and prefer Mortimer town area hunting.

Pirates,  Very chilled very mixed lots of individuals and small clans, good sense of fellowship though and much help given to new players who get attacked or need assistance.

Danes, very nice guys though lacking in numbers to get anything meaningful done

Thats my findings for what it’s worth.

Had very short spell in Poland and RUSSIA not long enough to give an opinion on.

Never tried SWEEDEN perhaps one day, just not keen on that flag
