  1. How i see this is it will be a good way to see how it works but if you think about it it may be a smart move to have this temporary test phase. If the fact is that this change will totally break the game and players will abandon it because of this be ready to roll it back to former state.
  2. Good day and hope this can be constructive post so please lets try to make it that way. From the start of open world there is always one issue that is effecting the game in a negative way that´s overpopulation in few nations. A way that can be done is if the admins can see what the population is on weekly basis or too and instead of handing out forge papers to all players this is a thing that needs to be done in controlled way. Now i am not sure but i think the admins can see how many players each nation has and what players are active please tell me if that's not possible. My idea is to revard the players that are willing to go over to a nation that is down to few active players to even out the game out on RvR scale. The way i see this done is the dev´s or mod´s will only have the power to hand out forge papers to those who are asked to move that way the ripple effects and those who jump on the winning side will not be a issue. This game has so much potential for top RvR my hope is that this post can be a start of good discussion on how to make things more even and better.

  4. Of Course nations are going to primarily hunt pirates the largest group on the server.
  5. Don't mind the drama but the trollin in this will not benefit any one.

  7. I can agree that alts accounts can and are used to abuse the system but i think that most of the fuss here is smoke. If an alt is abusing the game mechanic the need to be dealt with first ban for 3 months or so and if repeated permanent ban but that's only dev´s that can really see that the mob are to bias to have a say in this or not. Alt´s need a set of rules so there is a formal way of how the can be used. Then the small letter in each contract say i have some accounts and i start playing one of them more than the one i got first which one is alt then ? Remember that many players do have more than one pc the use for playing and the are in there rights to play the same game on both pc´s at the same time after all the did buy the rights to it when the buy the game. This topic can shed light in all directions both with the use of alts and against it in the end it is the player who owns the account who is the one abusing it or not.
  8. Pirates are far from being the only one´s using exploits when the can but in the end that´s really not the issue. To me the issue is that from the start of OW players get away with exploits again and again where all normal mmo company´s wold throw them on the backside under a bus but instead of dealing with them the lost most of their player base do to those few that did miss use every chance the had to get a head by using exploits. Why i cere is simple this is the best age of sail game that i have the option to play and hate to see it in the mud like it is.
  9. That was only the last straw to brake the camell. It is more over all issue then one specific thing.
  10. To day i lost all trust for the dev´s to keep this game a live. From the start of OW we had countless exploits and the Dev´s still sit on their thumbs without the ability to police their own game. It is clear that you do not have the guts to react and police your title and sadly there for it will die out like so many before which is sad because i did love the game and will still play until i get my fill of the lack of control.

I think that pirates should not be a nation but the need to be unique and meant for players that want to make a name for himself with raiding the current kill score is a good start might even have some form of bounty system in play so day by day the get more $ for their heads depending on how well the do in harassing nations. If the want to play RvR its simple give them the forged papers so the can pick a nation to play with. The option here to have great pirate system is open and a lot of good ideas that are on this forums its just a question what the devs want to do with there game.
  12. I like the system in play. But the repairs are if anything to light might be 2x or 3x what the are now in weight.
  13. Honeybaddger pixel ships are made to be sunk no matter what type the are but denying exploiters there fun is the best way to counter them until something is done to end the use of exploits.

Do to use of loopholes so you don't need to play vs screeners and your statement that your guild was going to use any means you can to bypass the basic rules of the game because you do not like them is why i do not accept any terms put on the table by Black/Blood. To me you are and always will be a pest nothing more sure you can take ports the fact is I don't give a rats ass. And for claiming victory after that we did ignore your port battles in spite of playing against exploiters is pathetic to say at best.
  17. Some good points in there but of course we do not see eye to eye on all of them. My main worry is that the damage has been done already and mainly by letting players use game mechanics to exploit cheat and glorify them self for doing so and instead of taking it seriously and beat down on those who do the did drive a way allot of player that will never give the game a second chance because of it. My hope is that this game will survive but don't see that in the future if the are allowing the few that misbehave kill their game.

Good day i want to drop a idea here to stat with admins get the info on how many players are playing in each nation for the next 2 weeks That info can be used to steer players to nations that are underdogs and have a some thing sweet on the other end 2x epx or something And the bigger nations will get some thing that's affects them for example cre cost 50% In the end this is a RvR game it´s failing hard because only 2-3 nations are getting the manforce a way to change it is to do on the next reset ( no clue if there even is one ) Have each player pick there nation and have a hard cap and hard cap will not rice until the numbers per nation is getting good and so on and so on. That's the point the game was always steep learning curve how to fight in your ships and still is few have mastered it but those who do are well known to the community for example the player that to me was the best one in the game used the name Jeff if i remember it right. That part is still in the game and i hope it will be until the end. The way I play´d and those in my guild we for sure did use them. Was not talking about this being unfair in any way i did say i do not like this a big difference there. But this is not a personal argument let's try to stay on topic thats the only way the game can benefit from the ideas and discussion.

  21. Good to see that there are players that like the system in play i for one don't and really comparing this to a musical master is silly. This is a game and nothing more if there is a system added in the game that i see that it's flawed i will point it out. How i see this working is to take out the unlocking part of the slots but keep the ship knowledge book´s that way a player in a early state of the game has few skills that he can use where a vet has more options. And final word a player that had years of playing the game is always superior to a new player no matter what skill slots you have unlock´d.

The ship knowledge grind is to heavy so it´s having a negative impact on the game the idea of having players invest number of hours only to unlock skills slots will drive more people away then keeping them interested in the game. Think it will be best to scrub the slot grind it´s not fitting for this game sorry if i'm raining down on someone's dream here. The skill books are good addition and gives the game a good flavor same with the refits its nice to have them limited and players have and use different setups.
  23. Alt´s wichunt is getting funny. To start with what´s the different from a main and alt we pay for them the same $ and we play poth or all accounts. So how do you want to handle this repay all the accounts pay´d for to be used as alts ?
  24. I am sure i did not dismiss them 98% sure but anyway´s will be good if you can find out what happened to them so others do not go the same way. On my end this is all fine i replace them without to much hassle but thanks for your time and effort.
  25. I did use them last night and no the are not in my fleet i did move them to the dock after my trade run last night somewhere around midnight in game time.
