All classes of ships have their place in the game, and even though SOLs are the most powerful ships in the game you will probably see more Frigates than SOLs. Even the small ships that you will sail in the first few ranks won't lose their value, since you have to sail small ships to capture a shallow water port. Trading gets you no xp atm though, "just" money. So to be able to man bigger ships you have to fight. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
