How to move ships between home ports?

Badass. Love this campaign.

I'm playing as Germany & I've got extra tonnage for BBs in my North Sea ports. Can't figure out how to move them there. When I click the port, the option to "move ships" is greyed out. When I open the fleet tab, I can't change the port there (side note, if you set the wrong port for ships-in-build by accident, there seems to be no way to change it).

How can I get my BBs into the fight?

Shame! So if you don't assign your vessels near the front (or with very long range) they won't see action?

If it is a huge problem for you, you can save edit the location of the ships. Note the name of your ship, then go to the save file (AppData\LocalLow\GameLabs\Ultimate Admirals Dreadnought\save_0.json), open it in a txt editor. Search for the name of the ship and edit the location fields as necessary (I suggest copying things from a ship that is in the right spot to minimize things going wrong.)
