You can apparently save hi res images of our ship using F8. My question is where are those images being saved to? I've "saved" some but can't find them. I could really use some help finding them.

Greetings Captain. Please right click on the game in Steam Lib, then select "Properties" and go to the "Local files" tab, open the folder and check the "Screenshots" folder

Hi,

I'm confused in relation to this. I thought those are standard screenshots (P key) and not hi res screenshots (F9 key). Some people I've asked have their hi res screenshots stored in another file which is really hard to find. My folder for this is empty suggesting that despite there being a key for hi res screenshots they don't seem to work anymore?

Greetings Captain. Screenshots made by F9 key can also be found here:

But those are just standard screenshots. They aren’t the hi res screenshots. Other people seem to be getting both standard resolution ones (taken with the P key) and are located as per the above. They are also getting hi res ones taken with the F9 key which are not appearing the in the folder you mention....when I use either key I only have success with the standard resolution ones and not hi def which just seen to disappear into the ether.

But that's what I'm saying.........if I press 'P' I get standard screenshots saved in the screenshots file which works fine.

If I press F9 in order to get the hi res screenshots that I want (or whatever key you wish to designate for the hi res screenshots) nothing is saved at all......it simply isn't working for me.

That's the problem............

Captain, have you checked controls (hotkeys)? The F9 screenshots are saved here too, just re-checked:

Yes,

I've even tried remapping the keys to different ones. If I take a standard screenshot then I can find them where you say without issue. If I use the hi res screenshot key - F9 (even if it's remapped to another one) then I get no screenshot. It seems for whatever reason that the hi res option just isn't working for me and it's really frustrating......

Is it worth uninstalling and reinstalling maybe? I've verified the integrity through Steam.

Sad to say......

1) Uninstall and reinstall - did nothing.

2) Verified integrity again - did nothing

3) Followed point 1 above and deleted the file in the reg - did nothing

4) Followed point 2 above and followed the link which was then deleted - did nothing.

It is still the same situation as before I reinstalled. I can press P and the screen will freeze for a microsecond whilst it takes a screenshot. This will be waiting for me in the proper folder. I then press the key to take a Hi Res screenshot and literally nothing happens. No shot can ever be found and there is no micropause whilst one is taken. I just don't understand why this isn't working.........

Have you checked the button on your keyboard to make sure it is not broken?

I've even changed the keybinding to several others and it is still the same result every time.......

Captain, at the moment the only person experiencing the problem is you, we will keep an eye on this problem (if other players report it too), but for now it must be somehow related to your PC/software only.
