Bk917
Can anyone explain the exact cause and effect of the different types of shocks? I have seen rigging shock, artillery shock, and crew shock. Rigging shock seems to be caused by felling a mast. The artillery shock can be a good broadside. I assume those are good times to board the enemy. pandakraut
The shocks seem to be caused by damage taken to a specific component. There may be overall thresholds but no one has datamined those yet. From what I have seen, the shocks also seem to cause the related component to cease functioning. Crew = ship goes out of control and stops firing. No tasks are performed by crew other than melee with a penalty. Rigging = can't change sails Artillery = can't fire/reload
