I was away for a few months,came back and decided to sail around jamaca in my nice new Indefatigable.
Saw some swedes near Savannah Del Mar,last time i played we were friendly with the ex vikings.They are probally just helping out on patrol.
Aw thats nice their turning towards me,maybe to give salute....
Hmm they atre running intercept....

Hmm i've been ganked....
Needless to say i feel like a right silly bugger.

If you've taken some time off its usually a good thing to check the "Politics" tab, or ask in your national chat what the current scene is.  ;-)

Probably the last time he played there was no "Politics" tab. Sweden joined the alliance at the same time as the Politics tab came about.

Alliances now mean that allies can join each others' battles and port battles, and they cannot attack each other. If you are in port, go to where the "Conquest" tab used to be, to find the "Politics" tab where you can see who your nation is allied to and at war with.
