Gun crews? muskets and boarding actions?

Hey,

 

So I was just gorging on youtube videos on Naval action and was wondering 3 things.

 

Are 6-man gun crews going to be modeled? I just saw one guy per cannon. It kinda made the deck of the ship seem lifeless and undermanned.

 

Also will marines and boarding actions be modeled in the game?

 

And will there be visual damage models?

more crew will come after more optimasation not the full 6 out of performance reasons on smalle frigattes or 4th rates maybe but on the larger ones no unless you want an historical accurate dia-show.

Maybe 3 crew for warships and 2 crew for Pirates, Privateers, and trade ships yeah? I think ETW had only 2 man crews and the ships looked very much alive.

 

Sprinkle in some various crew and marines and you got yourself an active ship.

I will gladly repeat what devs tell us a lot about their progression..

We will see what we see and it will be done when its done.

 

That said I really would LOVE to see a full crew on deck on MY OWN ship at least.

If my opponent features a less crowded deck I dont mind a lot.

Yeah, I think the same, the devs i think will put "finalize" the crew, the sailors graphics and I think there will be muskets, marines etc..
