Yall's GIF game is on!

I just picked the game up last night so that must have got back to HQ Howdy all! Looking forward to learning the game, even better with a new shiny patch.

Ok the devs said the free Cutter is just temporary but what will happen when it goes away? How are new players going to start off? I would agree they should be excluded from PvP, that makes total sense or maybe no longer free after a certain level but they are very important to a new player to learn the game and get themselves established. As a new player just finally starting to play this game I am very thankful there is a free Cutter that allows me to learn the game properly. Without it there would be no chance. There is NO tutorial of any kind, there is no missions other than combat missions for a new player to start making money. Does everyone just want this game full of vet players and no new players ever coming to the game? That to me is extremely short sighted. Like it or not this game has a very steep learning curve and if there is not some way for new players who dont know as much as you learn the game properly this game will die. It has to have new players coming in to keep it alive. So having said all that I would very much like to know the vision of the devs when it comes to helping new players get into the game and learn because as it seems now there has been zero thought put into that. Im not trolling these are honest concerns from a new player.

Howdy all, Going to create a character on one of the PvP servers as I am just now starting to play this much awaited game. Wanted to know if the Voodoo Shipping Co. is staying on PvP Global as far as they know? Seems like things are a little up in the air with the whole server mess. I am just learning like I said so just sailing on PvE at the moment to learn but eventually I would like to get into a good group on one of the PvP servers so just planning for the future. Let me know if you know, thanks!

Was just going to ask that as well. PvP Global where you all play? Want to get some time in and learn the game before I join a group so I might actually be helpful but would like to know where to find ya when the time comes Love the banner btw!

I have owned the game since it came out in Early Access but have been waiting to really get into it until now so I have a few questions that I cannot seem to find a definitive answer to. When I log in and create a character on the PvE server I see I have redeemable ships such as the trade ship and Surprise etc. If I redeem lets say the trader ship does that mean I will never have that ship available again? or if I were to delete that character and create a new one would that ship then be redeemable again to my char on the PvE server? Also if I redeem that ship on the PvE server does that mean it will not be available to a character I plan to create on the PvP server? Thank you for the help just a little confused by how the redeemable ships work and don't want to screw myself before I even get started.
