  1. The new update has a lot of new hulls. Does this mean your job making this mod is that much harder? can we help with testing in any way?
  2. Every war i get into, the enemy wants to port strike Saigon. (me playing Japan, took all of sea) I put a lot of escorted big ships in the port itself and around it. Still the enemey manages to get undefended port strikes everytime they get a single CA or capital ship in the vicinity of Saigon. And they will B line for Saigon every dangin time. Also, I would like for my task forces to intercept enemies when i tell them to. Why does it look like naval social distancing when i try to shoo enemies away from Saigon?
  3. Yes, it is mentioned in the original post of this thread. I believe viewing/spotting distance is significantly increased. This does not mean you cannot sneak up to the enemy anymore. Yesterday I got surprised when seven enemy destroyers actually ambushed my 1920 BB in the dark. launching torpedoes from 2-4 km away. They did rather well, landing a few torpedoes. they all got sunk in the end though.
  4. I cannot fit Mark 5 6 inch guns as main armamant to japanese light cruisers. 7 inch minimum. the six inchers are now under secondary armament.
  5. I don't know if it has been suggested, but would it be nice to link the improve/worsen relations action to a task force in a certain area. So if i want to piss of the french, nothing personal, i would have to park a ship in a sea area with a french presence and generate an event. I'll sail there and through the politics screen select a relations action. It will then generate a message saying something like, "your cruiser tried to sail on a collision course with a french vessel and threaten a ram, relations -10". Since i'm just an admiral, i figured the main way to show your diplomatic stance is with physical presence of your ships. maybe even let through an event sometimes where there actually was a collison and you lose some crew or even the whole ship.

  7. 🥺 Second update in two days if I'm not mistaken. Soooo... statistically we are in the clear for at least a week.
  8. After updating the game and applying the new resources.assets file, i get a grey screen on game launch. Don't hear any sound playing. The game will launch into the main menu after validating the game in steam. Steam remarks it will download a file. tried redowloading the assets file twice for the same result. edit: sry for the large image.
  9. Hey all, I'm probably stupid but do I need to apply an updated resources.assets file everytime UAD releases an update? So, now 1.1.8R is out. Do i need to copy the 'old' resources.assets file to the data folder again? Thanks for your work! Greetings
