I'm probably repeating a lot of what has already been said here, but this is my feedback after a few hours of playing this update: -The new hulls are cool -Improved target info is great -I like the new missions -Torpedos seem to pack a better punch now -Damage decals are a nice touch -HE shells are still better than AP shells 99% of the time. When firing at a heavily armoured target, an AP shell penetration should be VASTLY more damage than an HE shell, instead it seems to be about the same, except that HE shells will also do plenty of damage when an AP shell would bounce. -Secondaries are still mostly useless. They don't feel more accurate. Even with modern tech, radar etc I'm seeing < 1% hit chances at ~5km ranges against destroyers using 5" secondaries, which maybe raises into 2-3% after some time of constant firing. Meanwhile the mains will hit in a fraction of the time and generally sink a DD in 1-2 hits. -Heavily damaged ships not sinking doesn't seem of have significantly changed, it still seems to take 5 mins to get a ship downs to 50%, then about 30 mins to actually sink them. -The torpedo warnings are a good first step, but I really can't understand why there isn't a constant highlight on then - something like the little arrows that WOWS uses would be perfect - not too distracting, but enough that you won't miss them easily like you currently can. Overall moving in the right direction.
  2. I'd love for the UI to make it clearer what the your gun arcs are in battle (also for torpedo's). Also, useful to see on other ships. I'd also second the separate targeting for different weapons suggestion. Also different ammo types for different weapons - I often want my mains firing AP, but my secondaries firing HE. Being able to point you guns/torpedo's in a desired direction, ready for firing would also be excellent. I'd also like to see the handling of automatic avoidance steering either vastly improved, or just remove altogether. Right now, I find when ships get close the auto-avoidance steering usually makes things worse. But overall sounds like a solid update - looking forward to it!
  3. This is a tricky mission. One time the BB had 13.3" of +80% armour, and my CLs were generated with no torpedos, making this mission essentially impossible. But, assuming you get something a bit more reasonable generated, I've beaten this mission a couple of times by using the biggests guns I could + heavy shells + as much armour as I could fit, then keeping my ship super well angled, while I get in close with the CLs and torpedo the BB. I think you stand a better chance with a single Battleship III - you can fit a 13" gun on he back (not the front though) if you pick the firepower techs. An then hope your CLs aren't useless and the BB isn't crazy OP. Oh, and forget about secondaries, right now they are worthless. Now, if anyone can tell me how to beat the DD vs TB mission, that would be amazing!
