Tsunami I was wondering why finding a reasonable solution was so hard and your comments have made it clear. you have a competely biased, one sided and disrespectful view of everything. you blame everything on everyone else, you are publicly rude and dismissive etc. yet you broadly accuse ALL british diplomats of being useless? gosh you are childish. the events you are talking about are totally twisted, the British have tried hard for weeks not just to make peace but even to work out who in spain can actually make those decisions.
You talk about making peace only when Britain has been humbled but have you learned nothing from the Spanish experience? your nation has been totally humbled and did it make you want peace? no. it made you fight more. you must understand that it is no different for anyone else.
You say that when Spanish deals were broken it was only you 'teaching us a lesson' or 'the actions of just one individual' and thats not your fault as a nation. however when British break a deal its the fault of the entire nation. you allow no reasoning for why did we break the deal. can you not think we had similar reasons?
You clearly think you are a diplomat and but nothing you say is diplomatic, you expect everyone else to make all the effort and not you, you are allowed to break deals to make a point while your opponents arent and you are rude to every single person you are dealing with. you dont seem to understand even the basics of diplomacy, you act like an angry child shouting that everything is everyone elses fault and that you are better than all of them. can you not see why this doesnt work?
The irony is that you accuse the britsh of not being able to learn from their mistakes, while not only do you not learn from yours, you dont even realise you are making them.

Besides I am okay with a little friendly warfare with you guys. You had two options. Fighting a hard one against the controlling danes or fight a hard one but with help of the coalition against us. You 've chosen number two. That's okay. I am just thinking you have chosen this one because of false expactations. But hey. It's cool. This game is about Naval warfare not let's have a nice cup of tea everybody. It's okay. As long as we can respect each other and believe me. I respect your fight in Panama. Really I do. ????

You are aware this is a multiplayer game and no action is in void? You are aware by "playing it how you want it" you force yourself on others too?
So who is the bad guy - are you sure it's the guys who talk about stuff and reach a compromise?

The truth is the danes have thiefs screening for their attacks and they are screening for them when they attack to raid the citiezens of our ports. So riiiight it's just friendship. ????and these nations can trust the russian danish coalition? also nice false propaganda again...

Lessing one: complain about the british like they are the devil in person
Lession two: be "friendly - not" allied " with injustice thiefs
Lession three: wipe out the little nations around the neighbourhood, then "allow" them to get some ports back, but keep one port just as an reminder never ever say another word then "Yes". Then claim that they were wiped out because the british betrayed them, not because pirates were keeping us busy.
Lession four: create an alliance of the willing which includes 40 more ports more then british Navy captured and keep on acting like you are just friends with Pirates not allied. Tell everyone the british force have spreat the whole West indies while everyone who can count can See this is not true knowing the fact that the coalition of the willing just do what you allow them to do.
Lession five: allow your new, former brought down, friends to have the idea of fighting the devil you mentioned for 4 weeks. They were reading for weeks this propaganda so something in the brain think it has to be true. Well played, Sir. Well played...
It is very impressive to witness how everyone believe every song you play on your tune, playing the false and untrue Song of the danish freedom fighters.
Not kidding. I am realy impressed (and I start to have fun with this political stuff) Keep on, danes, keep on Herminator. No insult just a point of view Report from the other side of your window. It's good to read that everyone is happy and enjoying themselves whatever the result to their side. Was starting to despair at reading nothing but snidey comments for the last week. Looking forward to reading up more battle reports. Good luck all

I do not know how you managed this diplomacy stuff, but if a mayor clan was not included in your diplomacy you can't cry for treason at all.

So what is it about. We leave cuba to you and then your warmongers again are awnsering "No"... ?Probably is needed first, that Brits go out of Cuba unilaterally, and wait to cool down the conflict by itself. We spanish will begin to take cuban ports and we'll have to defend them, in which we'll have to center our meager forces, or fail again. Almost surely, wait, cool dawn and see for a while, before trust can be redone for both, is needed.
This is no way to go for. Trustfilling example have to come from both sides. please stop pretending this situation is just to blame all to the british.

So it is about we go on to destroy the spaniards unter we wiped them out and after that the danish coalition of the willing is going for Wikinger out the british. No one wies because at the end winners can play with themselve. Bravo. A great game is loosing no matter who will get the trophy. Bravo Gentlemen.

It's looks like they are in difficulties to have multiple ennemies in the same time.
the best deal with spain in my own opinion is to take back their ports.
with all due respect, i think that british diplomats are late. About 1 week late

That's weird. You are part of the danish coalition. Within the Pirates your coalition is holding about 120 ports. And do not claim you are not allied because I do not believe it was fortune that a pirate fleet was screening while the attack of Port Antonio and you attacked the rest of northern Jamaika without consultation of the danes. Really guys I admire your fighting skills but stop to take us for fool with that "we are not allied"-stuff.If fighting against the biggest nation that have 1 / 3 of the map is a policy then yes we are guilty , our politics are preventing british great empire from taking over the world.
Talking about aggressivity, we still have alot to learn from you my lord, your nation took the largest number of ports from almost all nations, your diplomats insult everyone even ally or former ally.
ps. : it s just role play, dont take it for personal attack but somehow everything I said reveal true.

This will be my last posts in this topic.
After all I'm just a spanish carebear speaking for himself. But I have a certain experience in RvR diplomacy in MMORPGs.
Personally I learnt not to trust anybody and to trust everybody at the same time. Diplomacy is not about trust, rather about mutual interest and balance of power. It's called realpolitik for a reason.
So let's analize the situation with a realpolitik POV:
1) for a little - but "combative" and proud - faction like Spain the main goal is to regain quickly sufficient towns and resources to have it's own place in the map and to self mantain its economy;
2) the Timers of Ports prevent us to be as effective as we could be in re-conquering ports (this is a flawed mechanic in my opinion, but that's it)
3) Now it's the best moment for Spain to negotiate a deal with someone, since there's a "big" war going on between "big fishes".
Problem is: who we shoud deal with in order to gain more: The Brits? The Danes/french? The US? The pastafarians?
Of course it's up to spanish diplomats and/or clan leaders to decide what to do (I'm just a spanish trader and carebear, so my opinion does not count as much here), but let me tell you one thing: as a matter of facts - on one hand - now Brits are in a much weaker position than before (as lobogris noted, they have to face the Danes and the French offensive in the south and we've beaten them out of the water for four days in a row in Mantua showing them that we are not an easy prey as they may have thought) and - on the other hand - Brits have actually to give us something worthy that other factions - at least now - cannot give us: the control of a number of important resource nodes in ports close to our capital city. Therefore the "objective" basis to start negotiations with the Brits at least on southern cuba ports (in my opinion they should be the priority since they are close to our capital) do exist.
We do not trust Brits since they betrayed us in the past? Ok, then let's trust the fact that we shew them quite well that - for the time being - an "hostile" western cuba would be a thorn in their side because of its a key position in the map (la Habana was called la clave del caribe for a reason!).
Tomorrow they will turn on us? Ok, tomorrow we will see how to deal with it. But today we can get something worthy from them. Let's go for a try! That's realpolitik.

I think there is one thing we will loose up to that point and this is the fun part for every site. Because up to now there will be no end we have to freedom one warside like the danes've done it before with sweden. Funny every's forgotten this point, but hey this is so much three weeks ago... ????
Will it help us? Maybe. Will it be fun? No.
So why not slow down with Spain, give them time to regain strength and then again we could have some fun.
In this situation the dane-coalition of danes, Pirates, french can have some funny fights with us (or is that midshipman-threatening realy fun for you?).
By the way. It is quite funny reading about how much you all hate us because we used the same rude (that's for sure) tactic the danes come along with sweden (nobody seams to care) two weeks ago, while writing about doing the same to the british if you will win this war.
Second, you all seam to believe the words of the danes and Pirates (and you do not care they took your Ports in north-cuba too, but hey, that's okay for you) Telling you we want to dominate the community but in fact:
We declaire war, come back to the table and talk to our entließ about peace so our enemy can restrength for a new round while the danes whiped out two nations, "allowed" them to regain some ports with strict order not to fight again the danes and with the danes telling everyone were to Sail and fight on. You think you are fighting for a free caribic but in the end you will wake up in a caribic where the danes will tell you where to sail, where to fight and against whom. And up to this point free nations are dead.
