They are sad, because this "humongous screening fleet" wasted time. Their own time which they manage for NA, was wasted by Danes. Sorry, but ur argument is an invalid.

I don't want to be rude but with the new super large circles screening has never been easier. However the new mechanics mean screening is really only a delaying tactic to keep the SOLS out of the battle not the attempt to sink the flag and win without a fight. It's still worthwhile though. The Danes logged in well enough away for a proper screening fleet to be effective but the British/US/Dutch screening fleet was doing a TERRIBLE job. They were all bunched up in the mouth of the port, no wide perimeter and our own screening fleet (which I was a part of) was able to get very close to the port before someone even started a battle. They had Vics and Santis in the screening fleet mixed with 5th rates and then half the people ran away. It was a mess. No shame in that, lord knows Spain's had some poorly organised defenses in the past but that's not the fault of the Danes.
Yes logging in near the port is not very historical and it does kind of bend the rules, truth be told I'm not a huge fan of it BUT as a worst case scenario you had to fight a 25 v 25 battle. The US didn't lose Georgia because of this "exploit", it lost because you didn't screen well/were faced with superior numbers outside the PB and then were out sailed inside the PB by probably the best 1st rate fleet on the server.
ddosing the TSs if it happened is poor form and bad play, no defense of that from me.

I am not one to openly accuse someone of cheating, I do notice when things seem "off" but this particular ability to log into the game and INSTA-JOIN without having to even worry about those dumb people who came out to screen is the new tactic as it stands. I will adapt my playstyle to fit the current reality if I care to do port battles.
Now if you guys will excuse me, I'm going to sail to Salamanca and log off and go to bed. Will be on bright and early with a hot cup of coffee to log into the game and be in the port battle before the screeners can even get their sails up.

Portbattles are a joke, because of players who are using dirty tactics. I dont know how we can organise screening fleet, do whole operation, and deliver fleet to port battle without logging out. Poor danes have to increase their leading skills, cause without exploits, bugs and game problems cannot play. [*]

Ah, these noble brits again, who never use exploits and other unfair advantages in the game. And if some enemy beats them, surely, that's because they used hacks, exploits, magic, take your pick. If you think that your nation never used exploits, you're either naive or a liar.

Я знаю ты русский поймешь, первые кто применил эту стратегию с лог офом, были британцы в марте месяце, и еще много раз после, так что не нужно тут говорить что вы такие все белые и пушистые и сейчас ныть: "Милые Админы пофиксите лог офы, потому что мы не можем выйграть ПБ при прочих равных". Хорошо, сделают комнаты сбора для ПБ, вы же так же не будете способны выйграть, как вы будете ныть дальше?

Spain fought a port battle at 02:00 of the morning. We want also same treatment.

Well, everyone in dribs and drabs sail a first rate to bang in front of Salamanca and log off, set an alarm for 30 minutes before the port battle time and then do the following:
1. Play on your alt
2. Play another game
3. Take you wife out to a movie and dinner
4. Wash the dishes/mow the yard/ call your parents or kids to catch up
5. Sleep
6. Finish that half-done project in the garage
7. Go through your closet and throw away those clothes you haven't worn in 2 years
8. Go outside
When your alarm goes off, make yourself a drink, let the dog out for a few minutes, get comfortable in your chair, stretch for a battle.
Log on, glance at screening fleet that has been running around for the last two hours trying to protect the port and chuckle to yourself at the misguided frigates and 3rd rate captains as you join the port battle.
New tactics, new port battles, new bugs, adapt until this crap is fixed, I hate it as much as anyone else, but it is what it is.
And there we are

A bit low to blaim them without some proof, and it's a game... do really think that someone would bother to hack a teamspeak just to do a port battle??? why has this not happend before when they have played much worse enemy's then the us??
You should hold yourself to good to blaim someone for something like that without evidence.

And there is a timer for when you login at sea, it is the same as if you JUST left out of battle.
still we cant tag them infront of a pb
If u want that port battle timer for us you need the same rules for all nations that would result in the same as with the flags that allmost all port timers would be in eu timezone and us would set in their timezone and not get attacked..
So that is just a bad idea!
Remember you are playing on a EU server not a US server
but this is sad for usa

This is NOT only something the danes does, but also brit and all other nation.. not everytime but alot of the time it's used by all attackers.

today the danes did the same thing as at bermuda logging off infront of a pb to make screening useless. This must stop or more people will leave
other thing was that brits and usa ts were ddosed at this day when the pb of savannah.
brits ts had no ddos protection for 100 days but rarely that the ddos was today
usa ts was ddossed early this day and it was down when the pb was going on
things that need to change are
- logging off infront of a pb should be not able so screening make more useful
- for usa nation the pb timer should be at 00:00 server time so they got the same numbers than early in the morning
