  1. HI KMill1! As MikeK noted you have to click and hold Ctrl key before you right click.

In the upcoming update there will be an easier way for selecting units, by simply dragging a free line with only left click around the units:

  2. The generals cannot be killed, but this does not mean that they are invisible and can travel freely on the map. If hostile units are present they will automatically fall back to evade them. If the player pushes a general to move among the enemy's ranks, he risks to force him to fall in an endless evading movement and practically loose the control of that important unit. Also the observing off the battlefield was an important routine for the generals to find the best positions for their units.

  3. Hi Watkins! Nick stated that there is currently no other way to unlock the custom battles. You can still unlock the custom battles by playing them first in campaign. Another way to do it, is to select different scenarios in decision room that will lead you in different battles. This will change soon and the custom battles will be unlocked easier.

  4. Sorry for the problems, UI issue is a rare but known problem and the team is working on that.

In the future and in case that the bug report button is not available (e.g. the game or UI is frozen), if you want to report an issue, please follow the instructions found here http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/881-common-technical-problems-and-solutions/, on how to submit a manual report.

  5. Wait, in the 1st scenario McOherson isn't even a VP, it's only present in the second one, where there are only 3 VP (and McPherson gets called Oak Hill in game). The screenshot he showed was from the 1st map, where currently the VP held by each side gives an exactly equal value (according to numbers on screen)  and so Union should have won by 500 points due to casualties. What's the difference between "draw" and "victory" in terms of points?

Sorry I was mislead by the McPherson reference. The issue is noted.

  6. Hi Teutomatos! Group/Ungroup button works well here. If you still have problems, please submit a bug report (if you have not already done so). Meanwhile try to click on an empty map space first and then select the unit. This works also if you want to give an individual order to a unit that follows a group.

  7. You really, really need to run the games more than once if you actually want to say the AI is getting worse. There is random number generation in this game, and as such a single result is fairly uninteresting, it's overall trends we care about. You can't just say the AI is now worse because a RNG happened to play against it this one time.

That is correct, there are many random factors during each battle.

  8. Temporarily there is not a chat system. You had to use an online chat like skype and such.

Yes, and I'll just put this here.... how is this a draw?  I even held McPherson's Ridge! That should be a victory objective, BTW.

In the outcome McPherson is absent for both sides, probably because it was not completely captured when the time was over.
