    I would love a key for a salut shot. Like in the old days of this age, there friendly ships or ports greet with a salut shot. In the chat there are many 07 and salut messages. It would be incredible if you can greet with a salute. You could use this for other situations too. For example to get attention of friendly nearbys etc. (get hunted by a bigger ship and you want to warn / crye for help to other players next to you etc.)

    If you loose your mast only the lower Part should get repaired. So the ship can travel and the player that hits the mast has a nice advantage in battle. I see many battles there unexpierenced players (or rowdys) collidate with other ships and loose their mast. The moment then they repair and the whole masts are back => Im totally sad. It is equal to me if you can repair that mast completely in the open world - but not infight.

    I started today playing OW. After two hours with a friend we realize that it could be very enjoyable to have a "follow" function like in other games. That would give the second captain the chance to make the navigator job and look on the same time on the map

    I would love the feature of using flags to show partys. For example you could use the commodore flag for a party leader. This would be indeed realistic And other players could see there is a group. Guild or clanleaders could get admiral banners. So you can focus on the leader in the fight, like it was in some battles.
