  1. Reported player has participated in 2 missions

    For taking a slot: Warning. 

    • Player have violated "interference in RVR" rule.
    • For taking a slot, he will be warned and his steam ID recorded for future violations (that will count to his steam ID even if he changes nation).

    For hostility interference. No action due to no interference.
    Port will not be set neutral or transferred. 

    • Despite acceptance of interference he could not change hostility itself. Hostility points are awarded individually and on exit the battle. Spanish players exiting were creating hostility points (even if other players are still in battle)
    • Player could not affect interference as it is awarded to those who sink ship in a mission and exit the mission. Staying in the mission or keeping it open does not affect or delay hostility points. 
    • British clans were faster gaining hostility and would have got the battle for themselves because they accumulated 11152 points and Spanish only were able to accumulate 5229 points

     

    There is another similar case on Truxillo where action will be taken soon. Because of such cases happening the entry to hostility missions will be only limited to clan alliance and group members (who are already invited to a group)

    Bug confirmed and was found. No Sabotage was found. Apparently you had toooo much money and due to extremely large numbers, some system did not work correctly during maintenance. Bug was fixed now. 

    Port will be reverted to your ownership as soon as it can be done.

I hope they do not cause you any copyright issues if they still own the rights to the earlier game they published and it's name. Perhaps change the name early on before release to avoid any issues or confusion?

    Not the server of course. Human sabotage, some clans were sabotaged before (money taken out) or port made neutral, or resources stolen, by other members and officers. 

    Any ways. the issue in under investigation. Hold on.

    If it was a mistake it would be corrected. But based on history of the game and port mechanics, mistake is unlikely. There will be an investigation by monday 

     

    but i am almost certain something else has happened. Sabotage possible?

    NPC could not and did not attack your port. The only way you could lose the port is if you did not have enough reals in the warehouse to pay for taxes. Its a common mistake

    If this indeed happened - there will be no reversal.

    Captains should not use alts to destroy friendlies in a most disguisting manner.

    This time those captains were demoted by 1 rank. Next time both accounts will be wiped
    Please continue reporting alt interference and green on green. Actions will be taken, sometimes slower, sometimes faster, but such actions will always be punished.

    propose.. there is a collection of proposals for upgrades in a separate thread. it is still open.
    Danish good and danish upgrade or gun or what not.. Danish military museum had awesome guns.

Игрок должен иметь возможность узнать все основные механики игры и представить эту возможность ему должны разработчики (и не важно как должна выглядеть инструкция будет это задания в игре или файл на сайте, главное что бы инструкция была полной и на языках локализованных в игре). И тогда новый капитан будет знать что можно топить ботов или игроков и забирать с них товар (и даже корабли), можно возить пассажиров или товары (или все вместе), можно создавать производство и продавать свои товары тем самым зарабатывая себе на игровую жизнь. НО знать об этом новый игрок должен в самое скорое время  как только вошел в игру, а не через недели мучений и поиска и тогда бедных новых капитанов не будет!

    Товарищь вы по моему чтото путаете. Все фичи игры продуманы несут в себе определенную цель

    • Красивые парусники 
    • Красивое море
    • Недружелюбность мира и отсутствие описаний

    Это все фичи. Это так и задумано.

    Цель отсечь людей привыкшых к казуальным поделкам кликерам на айпада

    Проверить на прочность
    Когда вы видите в портовой битве адмирала на первом рейте или торгаша с индиаманом везущим товар во вражескую столицу. Вы можете быть уверены, он превозмог и у него огромные стальные шары

    Это игра не для всех. Это игра про "белеет парус одинокий" и про "как будто в бурях есть покой". К счастью это игра не для пехоты. 
    Но не волнуйтесь - Для тех кому море не подходит у нас есть и пехотные игры. Например Ultimate General Civil War. Там есть даже easy mod 

    p.s Хотите помочь новичкам,  сделайте и напишите гид. Вон на западном форуме написали! и люди пользуются.

Как тагать людей у чужих городов? Гангеров и т.д. Эскондидо, Порт Де Паикс, Сент Николас... Типы в тупую лезут под вражеские порты. 😕

    Ship consists of Planking and Frame, Together they make the ship structure. 

    • Structure determines how well everything sits together (frame, planking, masts connections to keel)
    • Planking holds the cannonballs outside
      • Planking has
        • Thickness (ability to block the cannonball) and stop it from penetration
          • Cannonball can ricochet or get stuck in wood (partial penetration)
        • HP (amount of wood that can absorb energy) If the energy is too high the ball will penetrate and will work with HP
      • When cannonball hits the planking - energy is transferred to wood, the less intact planking is the more energy is transferred to ship structure 
      • Once planking is very weak all energy is transferred to structure or opposite side
        • Some woods hold energy better than others even when weak, others pass energy (damage) to structure at any damage.
    • Once your structure integrity goes to zero - your ship no longer can hold water. And no longer can hold masts in place.

    Captain will be able to raise any flag available in the area (with consequences if found to be sailing under false flag)
    Nations are undefined at this stage. Early version of the game will focus on Early 18th century smuggling and privateering.

    We are looking to hire a programmer to work on maritime topics in Game Labs. 

    Responsibilities

    • Implement, and maintain various gameplay systems for various naval projects
    • Assist in technical design of gameplay systems
    • Support the Game Labs maritime community by fixing bugs in existing games

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in programming software.
    • Strong, proven C# skills.
    • Experience with the Unity Engine (For a mid level position)
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with artists, designers, and other engineers.
    • High comfort level extending and improving an established code base.
    • A burning desire to create games that will make all other naval games not worth playing. 
    • Familiarity with the Maritime topics

    Pluses

    • Familiarity with games on naval combat and trading and Game labs products
    • Experience playing and developing games
    • Experience working with client / server game systems,
    • Experience creating and supporting tools used in game development
    • Experience with C++
    • Previous experience shipping game titles or other software is a huge plus

    Location:

    • Can be fully remote
      • Work from the beach or from the snowy mountain.
      • Full time from the office is also possible. 
    • Office presence will be required occasionally (travel to Kyiv will be paid)

    Был патч в котором от тарана появлялись течи и корабли тонули. Было не играбельно.. Но неужели нельзя придумать что-то интересное и забалансить это? 

    Будут на дешевом корабле в вас врезатся и вместе тонуть - проходили же
    Или прикрывая друга будете по касательной задевать и оба тонуть (скорость высокая по касательной будет математика создавать огромную прорывную дыру)

    что тут можно придумать? 
     

    По разворотам отдельная тема - ее поправим (может быть) в легендах точно не будет такой проблемы
