TheCenturion
Hiya all, I'm just curious to how the game is going to handle the particle effects, or if they're even particle effects at all. I'm yet to see a game that really 'nails' that musket feeling; the closest I've seen is the Napoleonic Wars DLC for Mount and Blade, but even that was relatively simple in technical terms. From what I've seen in the trailer, even though it's short, the game gets that 'puff' feeling spot on. Since these types of things can be fairly intensive and often needs to be optimized in order to suit certain platforms (such as tablets), I'm just wondering what sort of approach you guys are taking towards it. Nick Thomadis
Effects have been improved comparing to the video trailer and some early beta builds. Currently smoke and effects are very detailed but their duration is not very long to save performance. Later we may provide a more enhanced setting, exclusive for PC version. Looking forward to some new videos.
