Are cheats used in Naval Action?

Recommended Posts

Not being 100% sure, because I can't see the other player's computer. I'm sure certain players and clans use scripts, mods and aimbots in Naval Action. You just have to look at certain clans like F2P in Denmark and see how it doesn't matter if you have more ships, or if your ships are made of special wood or if you have naviguners, it doesn't matter, you will always have to lose. They will give you 90 likes in one go, even if your waterline is not visible and your sails are furled. Their guns penetrate the Greeheat like butter, and their repair time is three times faster than yours. Is it a question of who are the best players? Possibly they are, BUT NOT SO MUCH. Will it be magic? some are not even ashamed and upload photos like this to their discord.

Greetings Captain. There is server based authorization of everything (even water waves are calculated on the server). We have not received any real evidence of cheating yet. Such claims should be provided with video and screenshot evidence on Naval Action Discord (https://discord.gg/WsxaUse) or Steam forum tribunal sections (https://steamcommunity.com/app/311310/discussions/22/).

Also, clause 20 of the rules that you can find on Naval Action Steam forum and Discord:

Quote

20. Accusations of Exploits or Cheating
Accusing people or groups of cheating, or exploiting in our community is not permitted in public. If you have video or other effective and conclusive proof, you may post that proof along with the accusation in the Tribunal. If you mention cheating or exploiting without factual proof (rule 4) action could be taken by a Governor.
