Installer Refusing to install

So i played the game a while ago, (mid december i think?) but i kinda forgot i had it until today, so i load up the launcher like normal to play when i see a button that shows me i need to update on the launcher. i think "sure" so i press the button to update anddddd.... nothing happens? you can push the button in and it clicks like it supposed to, but it doesnt start updating, or anything like that. but then it gets weirder, the options button above the update button, doesnt work either, you click that and it presses in again like its supposed to, but nothing happens, when i know a menu is supposed to pop up. i thought it was weird so i uninstalled and then put the launcher back onto my computer, except this time, the install button doesnt work, so i cant even install the game through the launcher. im at a complete loss for what im supposed to do, it doesnt seem to be a common issue on the forums so im wondering what i've done wrong.

Edit: While typing this i stumbled upon the account settings by clicking on my email within the launcher, this DOES open, and it even allows me to change settings on or off, (Such as the auto updating when the launcher opens) But, to my dismay, the button "Done" and the Button "Cancel" fail to work like the buttons listed before, in order to close this menu you need to hit the "X" button on the menu, meaning you cant save your changes. this is getting stranger and stranger

Greetings, could you please clarify if you tried to run the launcher as admin? Also, have you checked if the launcher is blocked by antivirus/firewall software?

in case both workarounds did not help you, please make a screenshot of the issue, then open Windows Command Prompt (press Windows + R), then type:

• %HOMEPATH%\AppData\Local\Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts\log
  • There will be log files from the launcher (e.g. 02.02.20.txt)
• Please copy the latest log file and screenshot, then contact Xsolla support team via live chat option (help.xsolla.com) or email (support@xsolla.com), describe your issue and attach both files
