Are there any plans for a console release, specifically PlayStation?

I found some discussion from 2015 where a forum admin who seemed like a developer pondered at the possibility. I understand the complications there might be with translating controls however I think their is a very wanting playerbase on consoles, especially on PS4 as there isn’t a lot of nautical/sail age focused games. I can only think of Assassins Creed Black Flag.

Skull & Bones by Ubisoft Singapore recently got a hard delay, if not shadow canceled, so it might be advantageous to release Naval Action on console.

Would a console release still be a possibility?
