PT boats?

So torpedo boats are currently the smallest design we can work with, but is there any plans for implementing torpedo patrol boats like the American PT boat series or Germany's E-boat? It might make 2-inch guns more useful since I can imagine larger guns wont have the rate of fire to intercept them before torpedo's away.

That's more a WWII thing...  the torpedo boats pretty much are patrol boats.

Motor torpedo boats seem to appear in the latter portion of the game. Most torpedo boats you build are steam torpedo boats and much larger. Maybe the latter torpedo boat hulls will be smaller as technology permitted it.

Also I think every ship is ocean going. I looked at one PT boat and it stored enough for 12 hours at max speed. Also less room for food and workshops. These smaller torpedo boats would be supported by a tender. Maybe if they added a tender to launch these tiny boats.

I expect the 2 inch guns to be buffed hopefully to their accuracy to make them better against TB's. Their may also be other mechanics like a ship under fire will behaves worse so their low stopping power is less weak. Maybe add more exclusive mounts for these smaller guns. Like a pair on the roofs of main gun turrets.
