Need Rundown on Clan-Owned Ports

CrustyJohnson

Question

Can someone give me a quick run-down on how clan-owned ports work. here are some questions:

What are port battle timers?

What are clan delivery missions?

Are ports able to accept certain nations or is it all or nothing?

What are the ins and outs of the friendly clan list?

how many investments is a port limited to?

Why would you make a port open to all?

Who decides what port upgrades get selected?

What happens when you lose a port in a PB?

  1. What are port battle timers?
    • A 3-hours defense window can be set by the clan owning the port. The hostility missions can only be finished during that window, and the port battle happens 1 day after the hostility reaches 100%.
  2. What are clan delivery missions?
    • Some resources spawn in some ports, and the clan delivery mission becomes available for the clan and friends.
  3. Are ports able to accept certain nations or is it all or nothing?
    • All or nothing, except any trader vessel can enter any port. Free town and ports "Available to all" can be entered by warships too.
  4. What are the ins and outs of the friendly clan list?
    • Friendly clans can enter defensive and offensive port battles, can help investing and can use some investments of the port (for some, only if the owning clan allowed it).
  5. how many investments is a port limited to?
  6. Why would you make a port open to all?
    • Many reasons, for example allowing any player to have a PvP base there.
  7. Who decides what port upgrades get selected?
    • The owning clan and friends can invest. The creator of the owning clan can destroy.
  8. What happens when you lose a port in a PB?
    • The port loses a level of investments. The port becomes contested until the daily maintenance. When contested, both nations can enter it. After the maintenance, the port switches hands.
