LTCjRet
Spanish player Suricato Rojo remained in battle outside of visual range to force the opponent to exhaust the battle timer in order to claim a captured prize. His claim of awaiting reinforcements was a rather transparent excuse - as expected, they never arrived. He simply exploited the capture mechanics in order to harass the winning team. Henry d'Esterre Darby
Currently, this is not considered a violation of the rules. There are some ideas that are currently being considered for a future release that will prevent this from happening, but for now, this behavior is not considered a violation. If you still want to leave without waiting out the timer, and don't want to allow the enemy to retake their ship, sinking a friendly captured vessel to deny it to the enemy is ok. Case dismissed.
