Just wanted to share something with all of you, about our conversation style and way we talk to players. 

 

There are three things we wanted you to know

• We are not native English speakers
• We are very busy with development and sometimes don't really have time to check if our wording is good enough
• We want the great Age of Sail game and might strong opinions on the subject - just like you

As a result some of the things we say here might come across as not very respectful or too direct,

please forgive us in advance, because we never mean it and want you to share your thoughts openly as well.

If you think that we have treated you unfairly - or have not responded at all - send us a note in private.

I prefer a few misunderstandings if they come along with open communication, rather than over polished communication that doesn't mean anything.

 

A great Age of Sail game can be very different from one perspective to another, but I like the fact that you explain the reasoning of your choices.
