XMeK
Do the Mods not foster an environment of discussion? At what point are posts "accepted" by the mods? What is the criteria to have a post "accepted" by the mods?
Henry d'Esterre Darby
Generally, the requirement is that the post is not straight spam. That said, moderators are volunteers who are uncompensated. Every minute spent trolling the forums for unaccepted posts or handling anti-social flareups is a minute we can't spend playing the game, with our families, making dinner, working, etc. The Developers are extremely busy writing features, working on new ships, and fixing bugs, so the moderators are nice enough to perform a lot of very unthankful and unappreciated drudge work to let them spend more time on the important things. While I understand new posters are excited to start participating, a little bit of patience must be expected in approval of their first couple of posts. Thanks!
