  1. At one point you talk about full stop, not sure where, and the other you talk about mashing s, which I assumed to be the same but I could have been mistaken on what you mean.  Two tiny points I disagree with, but the only two.

P.s.  I dread to see an entire organization taught by you with these mechanics.  But I welcome the challenge (depending on whether you are pirates or privateers and what nation you decide to be) :D

We're starting small, likely to remain that way.  Especially since everyone who would like to be a member must duel Doran and/or his graduates.  Let me tell you, from personal experience, it bears a striking resemblance to this:

In all likelihood we'd be privateers for hire for the nation(s) with the lowest population numbers.  We prefer target rich environments  :D

  2. Was it bad? Too good? Tell us plx

Picture spawning into the battle, everyone gets moving but the brig sits still.  Just as your guns load, half your armor is gone and two of your masts are down.  30 second later, the last mast goes down, you're left with 1/8 armor.  30 seconds after that, gg.  Some other poor sod will get it next.

It was beyond OP.  It was a tactical nuke.  It was between the Bellona and the Victory before it was removed.  Those who were on the receiving end of these things will never forget.

  3. Mostly good suggestions, especially with regards to ship and gunnery behavior.

Regarding the timer, it used to be two minutes.  If you get pushed out of bounds closed hauled with an enemy to lee, you wouldn't make it back.  The border is there to kill those who try to grief by running, the 4 minute timer keeps abuses from happening where an almost defeated vessel keeps the victor out of bounds just long enough to sink it.

  4. Compared to building the real thing CGI = Dirt Cheap. If I remember correctly they spent over £10 Million restoring The Trincomalee at Hartlepool.

They should have contacted GL, all the ships in NA=CGI :P

They didn't try very hard.  One looks like a floating house the other has a wrap around balcony

  5. Two things.

    1.  People can delete their vote and recast, as I did transfering mine from Temeraire to Christian VII

    2.  It is the Indy, Hornblower isn't exactly unpopular among fans of the age of sail.  We've had a lot of new members join of late.

The two could account for the spike.

  6. Came across that courtesy of Jingles on You Tube. Had me chewing the carpet laughing when I was watching somer of the episodes. Only the Japanese could come up with that. :D :D

Hetzer carrying the weight of a Maus... riiiiiight.

Anyways, thought I'd share a few more:

    From the Seven Year's War

    For the Rats among us

Handel's Sarabande re-arranged for Barry Lyndon.  For when you're out of repairs :P

And more Handel becuase, well, he's awesome!

Last one.  Purcell's Rondeau from Abdelazar.

From the 4.0 preview thread.  You can see the crew and gun hit boxes here as well as the rudder.  From the looks of it, it would be boxes representing individual gun crews.  Modeling each individual aboard a first rate would be a tad much.  I'd assume that hit-boxes of this kind will work similarly to armor.  The more they get hit the more they decay.
