  1. I think we should be able to set what ships we want to sell or not.. i don't want to sell the ship i JUST built that is my flagship, and them ONLY wanting that ship over and over.
  2. im just saying, there is just to much of the "X nation collapse" way to early just had not even kidding britian and france collapse in 1 year from 1890. in a session and after the long post i did, and this one is right after it there needs to be a reason for a nation to collapse, not just collapses, with positive everything. being in war wouldn't collapse a nation if it was in war for two years, with multi billion dollar GDP, even at the worse of time perhaps 6+ years of non stop war with everyone hating on them, but a 1v1 nation shouldn't collapse a nation with everyone else being "neutral" in the war in under a year, or 2 years. before 1.09 it might have been 1 nation collapse before 1900's, but its being more of 3~ on avg, it leaves so much "unique" ships off the table due to nations never coming back, or people can assimilate the nation as a puppet etc.. Losing big power houses like USA, Germany, UK, France, Spanish, way before 1900's hit is just odd feeling... that is 40~ years of tech just gone.. but this game doesn't go off of one nation learns, each nation learns there own tech... seeing nations being held by 100mil GDP while billion dollar GDP nations collopase is just odd, i can understand a small "snuff" out of a nation but for a powerhouse just to collapse. im literally seeing Spanish collapse in my eyes right now in 1895, just after the britian, and it seems the japan and USA are going aswell. it seems, on my 5th attempt, that your not playing the 1890's... there is just no way, the game goes %NaN on everyone/everything, everything collapses, and thats it. (photos of the issue), like its unplayable and 100%/-99% eco growth and its completely wrong with how many ships i built, i have built well over 40 ships with 1 bb 3cl and 13 tb being built aswell (3 tb 1 cl being built for other nations) its a complete mess..
  3. i really think they need to make it so you can expand port capacity building/etc
  4. Back after 16 hours, with 9 of those being sleep.. (when i started playing to give reference) Currently, February 1896, USA, Naval Funds 2.5 billion, with only three nations at war. The French, And (USA me) are well over 11% growth rate the rest are in the middle ground with few being below even not in war?? Biggest fleet by far is the UK, with Russia at only 250k lighter in fleet tonnage. I also restarted my PC to hopefully fix it running.. The Right Wing keeps on winning every 2 months, so i guess thats good? Load times are still in the 4+ minutes range of just "updating mission" If this does not stop by 1897, i will recreate a new save and create a line to show. Next Turn in April, all wars ended, with immediately it to start again with the same nations. load time was 2 minutes however September 1896 seeing alot of 2v1 1v1 battles, and talking about 9+ matches of it, i didn't really like the 1v1 2v1 clashes it seemed annoying in a way of i KNOW seeing those means it will take longer to "complete", wish the ai didn't do this. November 1896, Think it was a good time to refit all my ships and make more ships.. Refitting 30 (10cl 20tb) and make brand new ships (10bb, 10cl, 20 tb.) the thought of a war with the Spanish's empire is going to happen soon and with tension rises i do not just want 1890's tech with a refit in my arsenal and my fleet is not up to snuff so may aswell... doing all that at once comfortably fit inside my port capacity for building ships etc.. The scale of how long stuff takes over weight is pretty decent but 17 month battleships goes upwards of 30+ months fully capacity.. And just for safe measure the right wing is still winning... every single turn.. this took time however to make so i actually played for 30+ minutes building, renaming, refitting ships. instead of the normal 30-40 second look at research and next turn as of now, steam says i have played 88 minutes today, and it sure feels like it with the time of just waiting. (time waited so far is only just a small amount of 44.8 minutes of hang time just waiting for next turn. yes im that guy that has a stop watch on loading/waiting times) Starting to somewhat wish that this game had a full screen window, instead of "full screen" which when alt tabbed it turns off the loading and anything to do in the background, or a window screen (ui becomes squished and hard to see). In April 1897, got an order for 3x of my Ferret-class Torpedo Boats from Belgium, they will pay 25% now ($952,719), and when finished get a total profit of ($4,034,326) 31+% interest in total, say at the least i took it. building 1.2 mil, 31.3 knot 17,255km 2x3.9inch and 2 17 inch torps, on torpedo boats it the least of my worries. at 3 billion dollars June 1897, The Spanish Empire Completely Collapses... Well, i started building ships for this reason, so now i got ships building with no one there for it to receive the fun police.... so now im thinking of what i should or shouldn't do, playing passively with mothballed ships seem to make the ai just crumble instead of the normal Pain train... Rather weird, they had 80+ ships (somewhat in the middle of ship numbers) and there eco was positive and everything and just this turn they collapse. July 1897 Belgium wants a Pepsi Cola Class Battleship, with a 28% bouns. pog? i guess August 1897, THE BRITISH HAVE FALLEN, like what? how they were WAY better off than Spanish's but the british have dissolved. Belgium wants 3 Fortland Light Cruisers, for 39% profit.. spanish still fights.......... as a dissolved nation September 1897, the Italian empire Collapse, money goes to $NaN, and NaN barrels October 1897, Funds have also go to $NaN, italy goes to war with the french, Japan and Germany goes to war Turn times have now decreased to less than 60 seconds 1897 November, im now going negative in funds per month, looks like a number overflow, (spending less cost more etc) game ends, not even kidding it just ends apparently i was at war to. TOTAL WAIT TIME FOR THIS OUTCOME (of load times only): 196 Minutes, or 3.2 hours. absolute amazing gameplay 12 hours for this
  5. Yeah what a mess so far with the update from an actual standpoint of gameplay.. on my first non speed run game for like 3 years to test how it goes(a more of a non just 3 years of playing and dropping, more of a more full gameplay), list of so far what has happened, and it goes by time, so alot of info USA, 1890 Start, Non-Historical, Normal AI, Things I Have Seen (literally in just 1895, so 5 years) passive gameplay mothballed and research up January 1895, 2.1 billion dollars (not for long) is when i started typing this Performance has degraded once again and just EATS up time doing nothing, single nations at war (1v1 battle), and each turn is upwards, of not even kidding 5 minutes to 10 minutes, with full game lock up's, with the game doing perhaps 3 conflicts/ machine fighting, and thats it? that and some ships being finished, the single core aspect of this game seems to get worse and worse with each update, and not to beat a dead horse, but a ryzen 5 3600 at 4.2+ ghz overclock shouldn't need to wait 5+ minutes for "nothing" (in terms of the player doing something) each turn compared to what was 1.09 perhaps, 1 minute at most until you got the "update mission of slow death". i understand that the 3600 is a rather "budget" cpu already but i really don't think its necessary to need to fully upgrade anyone's pc just to get load times lower. The way i see my CPU usage, it looks like its using 3 cores or is it 2 cores one thread no idea, but its alternating in perfect unison of when one stops the other picks up. GPU utilization goes up to (rtx 3070) to 100% just looking at the map. could be just my DLDSR to 4k, but i have had alot of other games deal with the same thing of a menu just idling at 15-20%. The conflict started in April of 1894, and its currently February of 1895, not kidding about the 5 minutes of waiting, so far i have waited 50 minutes on hanging... have not even built a new ship since the 1890's, nor in a conflict, going to do so now. i play a decent amount of RTS, but this is by far the longest of just waiting. December 1895, we are at 7+ minutes at each turn. The amount of time wasting on waiting.. imma have to stop hear for now 2+ hours for 8 minutes of content im just gonna drop until i get more time in total i waited just about 1.60~ hours on just waiting, i want to do other stuff.
  6. currently working on a "whats it like for a long term 1890 match, with issues i have gotten... so far all i can say "how flashy should our fireworks be this year meme" with load times
  7. perhaps the change of letting us "suggest" what we can do casues the issue.. and that issue was there before 1.09 i had issues where i sign peace and then still needed to fight 3-4 missions on them even after peace was signed, or sign peace and next turn go back to war... so i assume it wasn't just 1.10. don't get me wrong i had times where i signed peace in 1.09 and it stopped all missions, but a few of them still stayed in certain campaigns..
  8. oh wow, that would have been a huge mess to find out later
  9. i kinda what to know what kind of bug is it, i love seeing what can cause problems and what needs delays, instead of just saying "its a bug"
  10. freezing temperature with snow, single, up for 16 hours, im honestly just wanting play the game at this point. ( im not up due to the game i have sleep issues) i expect it to be just before they "leave for the day"
  11. Its way been officially Tuesday for the entire world, some people are in Wednesday by 2 hours already
  12. its like almost 11:20am innit? in the netherlands at least
  13. define 12/20/22, cause i got like 45 minutes before 12/20/22.
  14. i have rarely seen upgrades for the AI even on the hardest difficulty... in the 30-40 campaigns that i have played in 1.09, with reasons i have so many is due to bugs an "update mission locks".. i have seen perhaps 4-5 refits? and all of the campaigns start in 1890. and 3/5 were complete redesigns and not like a "passive upgrade" (same ship better stuff on it).
  15. im not trying to trash on anyone, but i been quite often been using my first ships in the 1890's, and ships from like 1898~ way late into 1910/early 1920's, way out of there prime, however, most of the time refitted within a year before deployment if not at worst case 3 years, and still dog on 1920's AI ships, heck some times these ships depending on the research/nation will still be better than my own more modern ships. (still want to use really badly "obsolete" items, some hauls are better, or filler etc, no reason to limit my option) i think the real and honest issue is that the AI don't behave like what a human would do.. AI tend to stays in constant war regardless of settings the player picks, and unless you completely mothball your entire fleet, the wars start way earlier... the AI in a few turns will be in war, and start building a BOAT load (get it) of the same ships.. so starting of a game, they could build 30-40 of the same ship with already having 30 of those ships in the start of the game, and through the non stop wars, the ships getting damaged returning to ports, and new ships being made (models, and old versions), and the ai just lacking doing upgrades of there ships, at the end of the day due to the constant wars etc, it boils down that we get unmodified "POS" from the 1890's, and worst all "newbies" or "greens". and this is before the mechanics that are about to be changed, this is a general sense (things like doom stacks) While in the same situation a person would see that "oh my ships are getting old, and i just need to mass refit my entire fleet or mothball until i need them/afford mass refitting", and have multi leveled upgrades regardless of in war or not.. a person may do 3-4 refits in a YEAR, while you might see the AI do one in the entire life of the ship. If the ships are in port why not refit the ships, most of the time a upgrade takes 1 month early game. and the other questions. as long as they need to use it it make sense that they can do lite refits but not entire ships, as needed
  16. i will be waiting for these. sounds like a really good update no more "doom stacks" and shared ships.. huge.. thats all i can say
  17. Interesting The person that did the most videos and post popular CC posted this yesterday: Stealth17 Gaming with 575 Videos on This Game Said This: Hey guys, I've just recorded my last video for Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts. It will be airing on Monday. "Last episode?!" Yes. The game is a complete mess right now with a ton of game-breaking bugs that make it entirely unenjoyable for me to play and for you to watch. I simply cannot make good content with the current version of Dreadnoughts. Over the past 2 years I've had a lot of fun with Dreadnoughts but it's time to move on as the game is not worth playing/buying right now. With that, what comes next? I'd like your input on that. What game would you like to see me feature on the channel? I hope this gets approved by the moderators, this speaks volume for feedback of 1.09, one of the most biggest CC's besides people like Brother Munro at 505 videos, is just straight up quitting creating content for this game due to the issues. You look up on youtube and just type in "ultimate admiral dreadnoughts" and see Both Brother Munro, and Stealth17, with one or two other content creators sprinkled here and there with majority of "front" page being Stealth17, with even his CHANNEL being the first thing that comes up, even on a vpn and a "incognito" tab to remove all the cookies, and location Stealth17 is there on the front page as if he was the only CC there. With Stealth17 having 38,881,705 views on his channel, while the second place with amount of videos being again, BrotherMunro at a smaller size of 3,474,750, it is clear that Stealth17 was a large CC for this game in total, while BrotherMunro, even if his content was great, and almost as large as Stealth17 in amount of video, a large content creator leaving due to bugs, and overall disappointment is going to leave a large amount of free publicity, and aswell youtube content removed due to the issues. I purchased the game due to Stealth17, and now he is just quitting the game due to issues.. It speaks alot about how 1.09 is at.
  18. oh i have had a FEW ships that were like 80% damage, in port for a few turns repairing, for them to be on the other side of the planet fighting ships, just for the game giving them the WIN due to it being stronger and i was damaged. from mines, or a previous battle
  19. I don't mind doom stacks but the issues are always Start a campaign 1890 Get instantly in a war even if the ships are mothballed (insert the game forcing you into a war by every single turn us assassinating a political figure) or (something about (not in my control) and cause tensions to rise) so its go broke, or go to war, shame we cannot do the same to AI like we get all the punishments like loosing money but cannot do the same to AI. jokes on them Have 30-40 ships, get them out of ports and move them into 3/5 groups Few turns pass a fleet from the OTHER SIDE OF THE MAP with well over 100+ ships, attacks like 3 ships that should have been in a group that should have had double the numbers Ensue the single frame rates for HOURS. Kills a large chunk Kills multiple battleships, cruisers, light cruisers and torpedo boats, and was able to escape Gets less than 20k points for it Few turns go by and the person we are at war with doesn't do an engagement, and I personally cannot force an engagement, its just throw random at hand. even though we are literally directly ontop of each other Do a few more ships purchases/Refits, and STILL zero battles happening "We are winning the war would you like to sign peace" puts on yes Few turns later "the war continues" By now the most of the world is at war Eco is down, and the parties that started the war, have lost most of there ships Few turns later, another, micro doom stacks happen with a 30vs10... which is way easier now Literally cleans there entire deck of ships in that battle gaining 30-40k points, and the enemy nation now has literally ZERO ships being made, repaired, refit, or in active service, literally zero. "we are winning the war would you like to sign a peace treaty" again, press yes. Literally half a year later with zero, and i mean zero ships they still haven't sign 3 months later they build a few ships, get near us, and instantly sign a peace treaty Gets all there ports and cannot get anything else Within 2 months at war again with the SAME PEOPLE WE JUST DESTROYED, and have very few ships. And aswell there eco is going upwards of 12-20% eco gain each month Instantly gets there entire fleet, once again from across an entire ocean engagement and instantly wipes the floor again. Then gets the "Update Missions" bug.. And literally that was JUST today, 2x past 10 hours this pretty much happened, with very close of degree of identicalness. The main issue is FPS, you cannot even use 2x speed without the game playing SLOWER than 1x.. that and the game forces you into wars over and over and over again, with no peacetime even with the same people you just fought with.. Bonus points for needing to waste a extra turn if you need go "across the map" from border to border.... (this is the end of this part, but i got another one i would like to type) I have a few suggestions for 1.09 but i highly doubt any devs will care to see, but its suggestions non the less.. The map is pretty horrid, something like, similar, not a copy and paste of hearts of iron 4 map will be much more beneficial.. Points that hearts of iron 4 map. Its completely seamless, no need to go to the edge, then, go to it, then next turn go across the other side of the map to THEN move across it.. just doesn't need to be in this type of game. Better (smaller theaters) on ocean combat, Make it more bite sized instead of saying "the entire ocean here" smaller bits will be much better for putting ships there for combative purposes. A dark mode, This is rather simple, large, screen, bright near white colors for hours on end looking directly at it is just to much, even putting my screen on the darkest settings staring at it for hours on end hurts the eyes. On the fleet tab.. instead of hovering over a ship and seeing all the flaws in existences and making it block everything else on half of the screen regardless of where you hover over, Make it so its a Right click feature only to pop out that menu, this aswell will lock it in place so you can aswell scroll (this is also due to how many flaws, its so large on some of the ships i don't even get a chance to see what type of bulkheads.. On the Ship Design Tab.. Create a Folder System, this is rather simple to understand, To be able to sort and able to create Subfolders" of ship classes etc instead of the entire wall of ships, i don't want to delete my old ship designs. Ship designing, please add a small amount of UI showing where we can place parts, rather simple, on the lower part of the screen clicking on a part, and getting the "expanded" part has zero indication where it starts, causes issues placing parts. Add DLSS... rather simple Let us still build "obsolete" ships and parts, again rather simple having it "obsolete" doesn't mean its lost technology, yes i know that a ship from 1904 will not work well in 1907, but the cost of building the ship is better than other ships, its still not obsolete if its still better than modern ships. this is as well as parts, i would like to have options to use "obsolete" fillers still, its still the same thing as the ships, some fillers are better than the other for the type of ships i want to build.. A simple thing is just Folder both of them, obsolete ships go into a folder, obsolete tech goes into a folder aswell, this includes "mark 1, 2,3" it should give you a warning of "are you sure you want to build it" and not a "instant removal". a good example is when Picric acid l, gets removed to only be able to use Picric acid ll, i should have the option to still use it when i get Dunnite, its the same principle of mark l ll lll, we should still be able to use older ones, even IF it means its worse, limiting it hurts creativity. Logistical costs, this should be a nice additional thing that should be added, more types of gun sizes in your fleet the more it will cost to have, really tired of seeing a new class of AI ship with 5 different shell sizes that are completely different from the last gen, while still running there old gen ships. More options for ships/better language for moving ships. Sea Control --> Sea Control. Invade --> Invade Convoys. Protect --> Protect Convoys. (New) Attack Ships, Attacks enemy vessels not just Convoys. (New) Defend Ships, Defends a location and gives a better chance for engagements if enemies get close to your ship It should have been an option to either be way more aggressive for "looking for trouble", and "if you get to close we are going to fight" instead of having a random hand of draw when a literal ship is ontop of each. Options for doing the same thing AI does to us with bleeding money out of them etc.. If this is an option, then out of the "looks at steam" 1500+ hours now with additional 100's of hours on another friends PC, we haven't gotten an option to annoy and harass like what the AI does.. Key press for game being stuck, like the "Update Mission" it would be a trigger for the game to see that its not responding/taking to long. Being able to Blockade/Lockdown certain area's... We should be able to lock down these places at any time so no one besides ourselves can use it, (including AI) there is no reason why me as the french for example, at war with America, will allow a single ship to go through the Panama if i have it, (this includes having 20+ ships there) Places Like Strait of Gibraltar, Kei Canal, Suez Canal, Panama Canal (there is more) are places that should be shut at any time during by AI or player wants/needs. Being able to take control of more of peoples port, and in turn Hostile Take over of a nation... rather simple, getting pretty tired of winning wars, and wiping them out of ships JUST for me to get nothing in return besides some money, it should be possible to take over more ports than what is given out right now nations should be able to dissolve due in a port hostile take over. Option to mothball mutable ships at a time instead of one per ship.. having 150 ships, and needing to mothball 70 ships is just to much time to be wasted if we can add crew with a button, why not mothball mutable at the same time. just some ideas that can be implemented.
  20. This, is still rather annoying.. 1900's-1912's, every single, and i mean every single turn has turned into a permeant "Update Missions", i have even let it gone over night last night to see if it gets out of it and it still stayed..
