Well, technically you achieved it, but at what cost - literally. Your designs are more than twice as expensive and missing key parts like a radio or Hydro. Also, you added non-historical secondary twoers with tons of armor, whcih in the second example, hang out way back and block your main guns so to have some counter weight. Also try using the best towers so you actually don't drown in smoke. This hull is, in my opinion, still VERY flawed. -

Here is one BASIC problem with the Dreadnought III and Battle cruiser IV hulls. They are unbalanced before you touch them. It should be like it is on the Battlecruiser V. BY default the center of mass should be dead center of the hull. Though this 6% offset can't explain the 100% fore offset once the build is finished. -

Tried to recreate another historical sip - Bayern class battleship. Bayern and Baden were regarded as exceptional sea boats by the German navy. Bayern and her sisters were stable and very maneuverable. In UAD not so much... -

This is pure trolling by the game right now. "VULNERABLE CONVOY" 23 BCs protecting a convoy and my one CA and two CLs spawn 5 km away. Only lost one CL though. But of course, my radar equipped ships lost sight of this wall of BCs and transports at 7km 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 SPOTTING IS BROKEN -

Also there must be something wrong with the armor calculations. The number of partial pens I have gotten during 30 years of my campaign with whatever gun is absurd. In one battle my three BBs with 8x 406 guns and 17x 320 guns scored thousands of partial pens and only in the lower tens pens, ricochets and blocks versus a pretty standard AI CA. I mean, how can a 406 capped AP from ~3km strike the deck, first of all, and then result in a partial pen with 3 dmg!!! -

And if the overbuilding is fixed, how come France has 441 ships? And still all AI nations have way more tonnage than their ports can actually hold. -

You are quite correct, it is a game and maybe it shouldn't have to be able to handle all kinds of ship designs, but this one is soooo basic. Besides, that is the actual speed and range of the Turbine class and the bulkheads are standard cause otherwise it would exceed the weight limit. -

Restarted my game client and went straight back in to the campaign. Now I get this, so you were right, the game dumps a lot of crap into the cash for no apparent reason during the campaign run. Especially given that I only fought a single battle and not even advanced to a new turn. And what is that crash handler?! -

Now I know why it takes ages to defeat the CLs of AH with my BBs in my current campaign... Maxed out the armor everywhere and still easily within the weight limit. That is just stupid. Also a link to a thread from 2019 regarding armor weight: -

How much memory does the game use when you are in the campaign main screen? Mine sits at around 6.2 GB and CPU and GPU are at 0%. -

Tried to recreate a pretty standard DD, the Turbine class of the RM. Absolutely impossible with the new pitch and roll mechanics. This whole system has to be reworked - hard. I mean, how is this even tested? Don't you try to build ships of each class in your own game? -

Has anyone else noticed how tough the enemy ships have gotten? Three BBs vs. one CA and I have to pount it for ages cause it manages to block 100% pens for some reason and partials give ridiculously little dmg points. Like four 320 mm shells resulted in four hits and a total dmg dealt of 75... cause partial pen. -

The whole point the devs about the new citadel mechanic was to make it easier to design ships like the Nelsons. Putting a gun aft would defeat that point completely. -

I just came across an error in the gun dmg reduction calculation. The modern light cruiser has a base gun damage taken modifier of +33%. Due to the way I outfitted the ship, under the resistance tab, I get a -13% gun damage bonus, also due to increased beam a further -9,5 % reduction. For my decreased draught I get a malus of +7,2 %. That would result in a total of +17,7 % gun damage. Yet the game gives out a final modifier of +21 %. How is that possible? -

Can anyone else confirm that there is something funny going own with the firing arcs? Just had a battle of CA vs CL and no matter the distance between us (<1k - >5k) I always hit either deck or superstructure, never the belt. -

Even in Update 16 Alliances and wars are still pretty much broken. Wars are not displyed correctly, alliances switch from one turn to the next, battles vs. our Allies are created etc.... Don't see this going into release any time soon. -

Happened to me as well. Was at war with France, which didn't hsow on the left side of the screen, just on the right, while Germany was at war with Britan. When Germany collapsed, as it has always done in every single campaign, all alliances switched on the following turn and I was at war with my former Allies.
