  1. and this isnt the first time either he has done this numerous times outside of cton or other us ports his alt always getting tagged by his main not by any other player always lord harts attacking his alt account, and then declaring it was a mistag. when u run more then account at a time u can see both screens so u shouldnt be mistagging ur alt because u know exactly which ship in OW is ur alt. only reason to tag ur alt is to pull in other nearby us ships. which is against the rules. 

     

    another note i only had 1 player on my ignore list since i created my account and that was Republican, which after a name change its Cartervon on my ignore list if this was another player i wouldnt understand how he could of gotten on my ignore list if he never talks in nation chat, or u stated he had no cannons so why was it a mistag if this wasnt ur alt account why would u pass up a uncannoned ship u could easily sink for pvp marks. so in all honesty and with evidence presented and the fact that Cartervon is Republican u tagged ur alt in an attempt to draw in nearby US ships to engage while ur alt got away scot free, which is in violation of game rules in regards to alts. this would make u a repeat offender in breaking the game rules.

  2. remember when multi accounting u can see both screens there should be no mistaken tags if ur able to use both accounts at the same time,

    Cartervon is Republican which is lord hartz alt account which currently has a permanent chat ban on him, if he is able to follow our ships around using his alt to spot for his main account to tag, or to attack his own account then would that not make it a violation of how alt accounts are supposed to be used. we watched this tag happen right infront of us. outside st mary's. 

  3. Hostility changes

    Hostility currently is based on old system (line ship ports, 4th rate ports and shallow ports) has the following main problems
    Number of NPC ships in hostility is not related to the port, force of the attacker and it does not allow means to counter it effectively. For example if 25 first rates are gaining hostility defenders basically have no means to counter it because they are always disadvantaged in a battle due to bots presence. 

    The following changes will be applied

    • Hostility missions will spawn ships ships similar to the ships of the attacker.
      • If attacker comes in first rates - NPC will spawn with first rates. If attackers come in cutters - NPC will spawn in cutters. 
    • Hostility missions will spawn number of ships similar to number of ships of the attacker
      • if you want to grind hostility solo you will encounter solo defenders.
      • if you want to grind hostility in a group you will see grouped NPCs against you.
    • Number of player ships allowed in a hostility mission will be set at 10 for both sides. Only ten player ship can enter a hostility mission from one of the sides.
      • player ships: total 20 for both sides - 10 attacking players/10 defending players
      • npc ships: total up to 10 on the defending side (20 in total - up to 10 npc defenders and up to 10 player defenders)

    This will make hostility missions more predictable, will balance them depending on the number of attackers, give defenders better chances, and give the options to counter the hostility. 

     

    Lets discuss searching for potential loopholes and unforeseen problems. 

    loopholes fall under exploits and when abused its considered cheating

    no one has made a point that NPC fleets still raise hostility by the old system by the 25 ship nation fleets that roam on the coasts. after hours of searching no report that this mechanic was still viable or was still functioning thru patch notes and hotfixes, thru support or bug reports there is no post made that this was still possible, as a result it was a exploit that was not shared with the general player base and was kept to themselves and used as an unfair advantage against other players to raise hostilities on ports

  4. Hostility missions improvements.

    • NPC defence fleets in hostility missions now adapt to an attacker force. Responding with similar vessels both in rating and in numbers.
      • If one player will come to generate hostility on the enemy force he will encounter 1 defender.
      • If 10 players come to generate hostility they will encounter 10 npc defender ships.
    • The problem of the inability for the port owner to provide an adequate defence force is solved by limitation of player ships in the hostility mission. Both defender and attacker can only bring 10 vessels into the hostility mission.
    • Hostility missions now spawn 30% closer to the port

    these screenshots show the french players involved in this battle at san mateo of exploiting old game mechanic of attacking a 25 ship npc fleet to raise hostility on san mateo, this game mechanic was removed from the game prior to recent patches and used a exploit they discovered and didnt report to raise hostility on a port and openly announced they knew of this glitch and exploited it as well as shared this information openly without reporting this glitch and is in clear violation of game rules in regards to game  exploits and failing to report said glitches

    You must have a no pvp zone if you want new players to progress and stay.

    The only reason veterans disagree with this?? because they want to fight new players who have no chance of beating them.

    Want PVP, Go to the patrol zones or hang around free-ports.......oh wait......you might lose.

    remove the reinforcement zones and replace with no pvp zones around non capturable ports, there is no real reason to have any other nation hanging around your nations starting ports other then to club the smaller less experienced players out of the game, as crow said nations can engage each other in the open sea, around free ports and contestable ports along with the patrol zones, not around nation capital ports, being around nation capital ports shows intent to club new players out of the game or to farm easy pvp marks from new players. if this cant be resolved restore the ability for the massive 25 ships fleets that roam ur countries starting ports to engage other nation players without a tag timer and apply area control to the npc's in that fleet. this will deteer other nations for going after starting ports.

    considering what u have already done with ur alt account its no surprise the entire US nation hates u, remember ur actions speak louder then words, and ur actions are why the US nation is targeting u, u break game rules and u expect not to be punished

    La - Requin is a consumable premium ship.

    She was built in 1750 - 1751 by Majorcan shipwrights at the Royal Dockyard in Toulon for the French navy, for protection against Barbary Pirates. She was launched on 14 March 1751. 

    The ship is perfect for hit and run operations and privateering. It can operate both from deep water and shallow water ports. Large crew allows you board enemies with confidence, and lateen sails profiles will help you escape from the most heated situations. 

    Ship stats
    Class - 6th rate
    Crew - 250 (30 more crew then the actual ship)
    Max Speed - 13.39 knots
    Turn Rate - 4.65
    Guns - 30 (not accurate to the ship when launched, 24 cannons all 8pounders)

    if the dlc is of the historical accuracy's of its ships why is this DLC ship not historically accurate

    You haven't shown any proof either other than a model.   Three decker and I assume the Devs resources was off actuall drawing and several documents.

     

    if u look carefully at ur link the crew size is dated for 10.1752.  not 1750-1751, the deck armament is also dated for 1752,

  11. alright tex ur first pic is of a galley not xebec, ur 2nd pic is of a galley not xebec, pic 4 is from 1780 long after the requin was sentenced as its time of service was only between 1750 and 1770, 5th pic doesnt show any chasers and not to mention u would have to be damn tall to see over that bar to shoot at a target with accuracy, also likely to shoot ur rigging and mast and bow at the same time that is an arched bow which u would have to be able to shoot over or for that matter see over while standing at that location.

    The Chebec was one of the fastest ships of its era. The Chebec was a typical ship with roots in North African countries. It was the typical format for ships frequenting the ports of Algiers, Tunis and Tripoli. The Chebec was armed with 24 cannons. This particular ship model is based on the French Chebec design of the ship 'Le Requin'. The French and Spanish both copied the North African ship design for its speed. Le Requin was one of eight chebecs built in France between 1750 and 1762. Le Requin was built by Joseph Caubet, a native of Majorca, and the build lasted eight months. The amazing aerodynamic profile of this ship speaks for its speed capabilities. Chebecs were used in the mediterranean by French corsairs mainly for quick interception and getaway. This is a fantastic plank on frame ship model of the chebec based on the original plans with all its ornaments being handcarved pieces which took hours to complete.

    3 deckers has her listed with the same guns as we have in game (24 french 8-Pounders) and with 245 crew (240 men and 5 officers).  Swivels are never mention on the list cause they can be put any where so I don't see where your getting the guns are accurate/historical.  The problem is with mods in game shallow ships can get super crew stack.  To fix this just make it a 5th rate again so it has to use 5th rate mods and Ship knowledge rules that don't allow you to stack so much.

    historically the raquin has 220 crew no bow or stern chasers, swivels we not placed on this ship in the 20 years it was in service the specific raquin that the model is of is the one from 1750 -1751 which historically does not have the space to place swivel cannons.

    this is the specific raquin the ingame ship is based off of which dont even come close to its historical accuracy. this is a replica of the french xebec identical to the requin. frenchxebec1.jpg
    the bow is too cluttered to have a swivel cannon placed there so no bow chaser the stern is so high at u could put one there u cant place swivel along the broadside without getting in the way of the cannoneers, not enough space. cant place it in the middle without the possibility of shooting ur own mast, in all honesty the raquin 1750 - 1751 does not meet its historical accuracy.

Also with me telling other people to go to a different nation, yes i said this because some poeple IE newer players need to hear it because most of the time they cannot leave port without being attacked because no one there can protect them like other nations could, I have already helped handful of people in the US go elsewhere thats that....  So any further talk on this Post is only feeding thus post singling one player out. The few people to defend me here I have told to stop posting here along with dozens of others who wanted to say something in my defense I have prevented from talking on this fairy-tale witch trail against me. 

    were not just targeting you hartz, but u are a prime example, of abusing the system, time stamp in battle the one provided by richbeard, 13:03 if u were able to escape unscathed why was the french still in battle u both should of been able to leave at the same time, the screenshot was posted on nation chat 2 minutes later, its very interesting the moment rich jumped in was the moment ur entire fleet left the battle, that is no coincidence, why would the french still be in the battle it follows the same timer as u do, no reason to stick around. other then to attack whoever came to ur aid, in another of my screenshots "it happened to f***ing quickly" meaning u leaving just as help arrives could of stayed in a lil longer to explain why u were being released or to wait till the french leaves first. if u were so protected.
    another screenshot proves the statement of trading gold u earned in the safety of ur alt account specifically for ur main,
    in the last screenshot i posted show u intentionally using ur alt to cause trouble and trying to get players to leave the US nation for another nation, sowing the seeds of discontent, also a confirmed spy on nation chat.
    christendom screenshot shows "i love being a traitor i seal club all you idiots easily" so u do it intentionally, also stated "just like we know what ports you are going to nezt with britian at what times and who is already there" implying he is using his alt in US nation his main is French and is feeding intel on our fleet movements to the british. using our nation chat,

    in all honesty he is the type of player that gives this game a bad review by new players and veterans, overly toxic personality, intentionally attacking starter players outside their nations starting cities, we have many reports of french players including hartz attacking basic cutters outside charleston. there shouldnt be pvp combat happening anywhere near the capital of any nation, there is no reason other then to target new players

    these DLC's specifically the herc and raquin broke the game, the raquin alone is so OP its not even worth using any other ship up to tier 1 since nothing can keep up with it it gets no negative debuffs in any wind angle, goes 15.5knts and has bow and stern which isnt historically accurate. not to mention this ship isnt big enough to sport a 372 crew

    if these ships are supposed to be historically accurate why does the raquin ingame have bow and stern chasers also he sailing profile defies the laws of physics. this ship is so broken that its basically a god ship who is practically unsinkable unless ur using the same ship.

    this ship historically had 220 crew not 372 that it can have ingame, the raquin is also a mediterranean ship not ever seen in the caribbean used by the french.

    strengthen 6th rates it takes more then 5 ships of the same class to even have a chance of taking out a raquin no other ship in the game can go in a headwind and keep above 12knts, sadly this ship no matter how beautiful is way too broken

    whats the point in pumping money into the game if it becomes a pay to win game, or if it pushes those that cant afford a constantly redeemable OP ship from ever coming back to naval action, where will that money take a game with a really low player base

    Its an insane boarding ship. With carros it has the best firepower of any 6th rate.

    I love this ship. I hate that its p2w. A dlc ship should not be the absolute best of its rate.

    this thing can take out even 3rd rates and higher nothing can compete with its turning speed or melee potential, and the owner of the ship doesnt cost nothing to replace, its too overpowered and unrealistic, if this game is going for authenticity this ship does not match that.
