The 5th of April was on a Wednesday, "end of next week" would be today or this weekend. My question was actually about the " there be a third delay" part. All changes are scheduled for the first half of this year. I don't see anything about a delay. We are still in the first half of this year. You are confusing me.

Response to a review

Some do it for free, some get paid, and in some games alpha testers get special benefits. The general crowd gets the tested product (Which doesn't have to be the final product) to play with. They have something to say, but not as much as alpha testers. Developers want suggestions and sometimes opinions, but definitely not emotions. Reviews are good for when the final product goes to the paying customers ad the NDA id lifted. EA promised me a signed disc copy long ago, which they never delivered. -

This is why alpha testers are carefully selected and have them sign a NDA. Don't release a game that is still under development to the general public. 90% of the gamers have no clue how game development works and will rant endlessly on other sites with bad reviews. Trolls will gather from everywhere to add to the fire, and they don't care if it's all true. They than come here and see NA staff getting angry and ban left and right. My advice is close the testbed and let a selected few in. Give them a closed forum section (Not readable by the general public) to express their views and come with ideas. -
This topic will change much if the patch already was applied. Currently we haven't had maintenance for three days. I have 6 ships in transit to Mortimmer, and we are falling asleep on the testbed. People are coming on the testbed and are moving away again. It is stale. My previous post that there were 3 people on the testbed is removed. I promise with all this racket, people will populate the testbed fast, but currently there is nothing to do. Please hurry up!

I understand it. As trader I was using it to avoid a long trip back with an empty hold, when there was no profit to be made from my destination. It was a nice way to avoid unwanted hostilities as well. It could also be used to avoid port battles when starting a trip. I have several fleets waiting at profitable ports, for if there is a blockade somewhere. I could always use teleport to start from an other port with a different cargo. On the testbed I have 8 LGVs waiting at different ports just because I can. It is a major loophole out of the PvP and currently my biggest tool. I will miss it, but I would remove that loophole too if I was a developer. It removes the point of having multiple ships though. But where do I go when I have a trader at a certain port and it's under siege? I guess I'll just have to log out and come back an other time?

Yes, it works for me too. Thank you. I feel I have made my point. A section for game related bugs would be nice. Thank you -
Game support
Captain Bonny replied to Captain Bonny's topic in Forum and website problems and improvements
It's an ordinary bug. I reported it ingame. I just noticed that the information, when you hoover on the map of a contested city, you can't read all the info. It is on the testbed server. I reported it ingame, but there is no way to make a screenshot of the map there. -
There is a support section "Support Have a technical problem? Post here! Forum for bugs, graphical glitches, technical problems and other issues not related to gameplay". I can't find a section that is for glitches/bugs related to gameplay, or am I not looking right?

Everybody is so confused here. I personally think I got is right in a nutshell: Decide which server you want to play. Your redeemable will be right there, but don't touch them. If you are not happy with that server, go somewhere else, and they will still be there. If you are not happy with your nation, delete your character and start a new on. Your redeemables will still be there. Don't touch them, and they will be everywhere you go. Redeem them, and they will be gone on all other servers you went, and you will not get them back.

The ocean map

If that would happen, I'll change my own forum to be a tribute to this game. This game needs more support, because there are people out there who don't even know such a game exists. There is World of Warships, but that is just a pile of missions, no open world/sandbox at all. I am sure World of Warships will lose members if they know there is a game with an open world here -
I have been a sailor from age 14. It is in my blood. I went to school on a large sail ship. My father, and all fathers before him went to sea. It feels like home and the waves make us sleep better at night. The silence of a city house drives me crazy. I like it when the floor moves up and down and left to right. I personally grew up with a giant diesel motor next to my bed, and slept like a baby. I am old now, and all I have is books, piles of books with ships. I long for the old days but I know that never comes back. What I like to see in this game is more color. Everything is either blue or grey. The map is boring, and could use some art to it. Having a map like in the old days would be a major improvement. I also suggest you make it bigger, so you don't bump into other players every second. Here is an example:

I bet you were there during maintenance. That was an hour ago, I bet you are online now. Would have been nice if you told us if you are online now. Server is working for me.

I was paired in my basic cutter against a frigate. The AI next to me was in a cutter too. We both got sunk but there was still a good reward. -

I can't tell where the excitement is for you. I was exited when I made my first million. I was exited when I sailed my first indiaman with 2 million worth of contraband in the hold. I was exited when I built my first trader lynx. I was exited to see my own ships gathered together to attack an AI ship. Again, I can't tell what makes you tick. It would be fun to do things togethet what makes us both have fun and not at the expense of an other player who chose to sail in a single trader brig around the world and seemed like an easy victim (Sitting duck as my attacker told me). Each his own as I may say, but not at the cost of others. -

PvE has a greater diversity than you might think. Large clans can gather together for a world boss, without having to worry about rivals who might attack them to steal the kill. There is no toxicity about one nation fleeing the battle because the other group is clearly bigger. Nobody will get caught in a lonesome indiaman just because he was afk during the trips of several hours. People can sit back and relax, reading a book or watch television. There is so much you can do while building up a fleet to fight big AI adversaries. Getting rich in a player driven economy is quite a challenge, especially if there is a leaderboard of who is the richest. PvE players can be very competitive trading day and night to become a huge economic power. I hope there will be possibilities to duel each other so we can test ships against each other. PvE players love consensual PvP, and not the random attacks you see on a PvP server. We like the thrill of winning a fair fight just like any other player. -

For every book that is written are a thousand pages thrown away. It is part of the creative process.
