TDflee won't stick around to fight unless they have 5 to 1 odds. Show up 1v1 or even 2v1 and they run away. To the point where there's no point in PvPing outside mortimer, annoying to have these little trumpo's picking on the low levels.

Jeez if the pirates didn't do anything there'd be no PvP at all, every nation is allied with each other.... the PvE server is over there.

Problem is the nations are out of ports to attack, it was considered ok to attack pirate ports.... but what happens when there are no pirate ports? Back to PvE carebear land everyone.

So if the situation was reversed, if we started attacking your ports it would have been you who declared war on us, not the other way around?

Ports don't matter to pirates. We're not a nation. We'll just gank your traders. Keep up with the times cloggers.

Nope, the war was initiated by your clan leader when he attacked our ports. We didn't ask for this war. And we are not at war with the Pirates, only Sorry and any pirate that aid them in taking our ports (which also has been extended to Swedish ports since we now are in an alliance with them, after you declared war on us).
If you manage to put a spin on that, I'll actually be impressed. It can't be more clear cut.
Yeahhh you pretty much declared war on the pirates. You can't just tag one clan and expect the others to play your carebear games.

You haven't pointed out that the pirates have branched out at all, there's no mention of the vice being squeezed to the swedes and dutch.
Even at the end with your tallies, fine and all, but you seem to be comparing the factions based on ports and not PvP. You assert that the pirates are 'losing' the gulf... no one's even there. Yeah you might find a few alts selling compass wood but no one's actually there. They're empty ports being capped by a few brits.

I think there should be at least one pirate-only port per sector, or whatever you call it. Plus maybe a small island, like Tortuga, for the newbies to use to level up around.
No restrictions on the ports, you can build or craft whatever you like. Pirates have labor hours to spend too you know.
In general, pirates need to have a good deal freedom of movement, and havens to hide out in. Can't focus too much on a 'Capital' per se, except for new people trying to level up and learn the game.

Perhaps new pirate freeports... only useable by pirates? Keep the naughty traders out but lets the pirates raid freely.

Prefer to see more freeports, give the pirates options to move around as we watch the world burn.

I'm sorry to inform you but I decided to leave SORRY for a smaller clan that some of my friends from POTBS are in. If possible, I would still like to have access to TS so I can check in & see how everyone is. You are a great group of guys. See you on the OS.

As a pirate from the beginning, I started hating the SORRY clan from yesterday.
They have been accusing me for "spying" since month (maybe they accuse me for spying even if I am offline),
which I surely have never done.
You get insulted and harrased on the Nation chat by their members.
They claim to play for the "pirate" nation and not to attack other pirates, but seem to have a hug list of KOS (kill of sight).
Yesterday I got "tagged" by a fleet of 4-5 Sorry members trading on my indiaman 3 (or was it 4) in a row.
They made my day,
I refused to give in to them, and had a sleepless night.
Those guys do not only destroy the pirate nation,
but also kill off the player base.
It is no fun being tagged by Swedish, US, GB, Dutch and then comes
Mr. "bountyhunter" and the SORRY-clan, and they shout at you "KOS", you are a SPY
or "fuck off" the nation chat, you are a spy!
Even talking to those guys, never led to any solution....
Why are they wondering, that all NON-Sorry-player are fishing in the GREEN zone?
Because, we all wait until those guys quit the game...
Once I chatted to Lord Vicious "you act like Mussolini, as you are Italian" and he replied, "no, even better, I am Hitler".

Not one to point fingers, but didn't you just fail to plant the flag at Mayaguana?
Did you not pull the flag without letting anyone know?
We even sailed out with a full fleet to screen, but spent most of our time just trying to figure out where the main fleet was. Zero communication, zero effort.
Don't expect us to help if you won't even pop into TS to let us know what's up. We're all more than glad to assist, but we can't do that if you won't even give two seconds to bring us into the loop.
Spy? Well that's a bit of a stretch. Failure? Bit more accurate. And don't listen to TDflee.
