Maintenant, si le sujet de ce poste c'est le PvP sauvage sur les traders et nouveaux de lapart des brits et des drunk, ma fois, y a des solutions...
On change de zone, on fait profil bas, ou on se regroupe avec les copains pour etre plus nombreux qu'eux et on fight... Les drunk chez les ACR, on les a combattu y a quelques jours avec des nouveaux membres pas habitué aux PvP, tous les miens ont coulés, et je me suis battu a la fin en 3rd seul contre 6 et leur flote IA, ma fois c'etait marrant... Et si le probleme était qu'ils sont suedois, dites vous bien qu'ils pourraient etre pirates, ca changerait rien.
Pas d'accord, cela changerait déjà le fait que les Suédois eux-même puissent les empêcher de faire leur truc chez eux. Cela les empêcheraient d'utiliser les Port Suédois pour se planquer, et cela les mettraient bien plus loin de la Zone Française et rendrait ses eaux bien plus sûr.

Majority or Minority doesn't even matter. What keeps this game together is not the lone wolf player doing his own stuff on his side.
It does have it's importance but this game is no FFA.
But it's the guy who are organised in Clans and discuss with eachother and try to protect there nation along with expanding it while working with player of other nation.
Some of you sur seems to miss something about World work in the Big structure.

Yes it was not a surprise result, the first three salvo I took reduce one of my flanks to a third of it's armor.
I don't have many ship, my top one is currently a surprise and I'm trying to build me a frigate. And I must say that I find the surprise and the snow really fun to play.
They are quite polyvalent, no true weakness, but no big strength.
The renospeed is a perfect privateer ship.
Don't hesitate to group up with some French, some are willing to help you capture a frigate to let you try it. Altought I could suggest taking a Belle Poule, they are much more tanky. I'm currently capitaine de Frégate, so I can take a Surprise. But at the moment I'm using a Frigate with an undercrew of 89% (so not a bad one) and a Belle-Poule with the same. Fun to play in PVE.
Have fun playing, continue wasting french line, your safe from a coordinated response.

That's what the pirate nation is for, it enables clan V clan action.
I would much rather sail for my country, It adds a whole sense of purpose to the game and enhances the historical feel of the game.
If some guy were like you, thread like this one wouldn't even exist.

Really guys, it's a good thing you don't represent the majority of our nations because flamewars like this are boring, useless and stupid.
Why don't we make a break about that timer stuff and just enjoy the game?

I must congratulate the Drunk for two thing:
-the fight of today, you sunk me (Nathanael de la Maisoneuve, french on a Surprise by Mogir on a Tricomalle) but I enjoy the fight, you can send congratulation to your captain, but he should protect his stern a bit more
-you're ingame actions reveal the urgent need for a complete rework of the diplomatic system. It must no longer be in the hand of several group of player on a platform outside the game, but it must be made ingame, enforcable and negociation must be visible by all.

DRUNKS and Rogue Clan have been screwing the game for the rest of the population at global scale.
Unless you want to sacrifice the pleasure of 1000 players for the pleasure of 10?
I hope you understand our poin of view. Because even if you are not directly part of this. DRUNKS and Clan-Like doing there stuff without even thinking about the rest are a something that need to be dealed with.

I think if there is a nation that really don't deserve respect in the long term. It is the Great Britain. And that's sad.

We see tonight that the french defended their shallow water port, and the Spanish have bent the knee and allowed them a port - me hopes it is to allow the French to move up into the US territory.

"It's a MMO axed on Global Diplomacy" No, it's a sandbox MMO based on naval combat being played on a pvp server. That is all. Diplomacy is entirely player-driven right now. If your clan wants peace with someone then you're welcome to it, but that's for you and you alone. I realise that some of you people need to find validation by trying to be a big wheel in our little pretend-internet-boat game, but you don't get to tell other people how to play their game. Suck it up. "Those who don't respect it hold no right etc etc etc" Unless you bought their game you don't get to decide that for anyone else, tough luck. Grow up.

Eeyup... The MP I received about you are sadly right apparently.
Sandbox doesn't mean without rules. Rules have been instaured, Diplomacy has been created and council have been made. Nations are gigantic being and each player of theses faction are a gear of the said faction. Joining that nation to fight under the concerned flag AND respecting the rules of the hierarchy.
I did not bought this game to everyone, but I sur know that in every MMO when a player screw everything up constantly and create problem of major scale. He is not left getting away with it.
Even Pirates try to follow at least some rules.
Minecraft is the perfect example of Sandbox game, yet even in it they are rules on almost every server that allow a fluid movement without constant interference by one parasite or two.
Here, we are even more in a context that should put that kind of rules. We are in a historical context and we are NOT playing just for us when having anything other than a black flag.
If you want to play without thinking of the big picture, go ahead. Join the Pirates, even them make things BIG. Because that's how it work in this game.

Heck, I am not sur that if a General in the Army IRL attacked a country or launched unautorised action it could get away with it.
The majority of the players respect the Diplomatic terms and can discuss about it, voicing there opinion.
Thoses who don't respect it hold no right and should be put out of the concerned nation.

European LOCATED server. International/Global playerbase. There are/were even chinese players(or so i've heard) on the server. The server is not locked to only European IPs to join it, if you set only European timers you eliminate the playerbase in a different way instead. There are problems with timers both ways. The US nation on PvP 1 being mostly US players would have trouble for example. Edit: Even if there was only EU players on PvP1, Russia for example has 9 time zones, you could probably similar timers still because of certain Russian players peak times, it can't be helped unless the timer mechanic itself is changed. And yes, i'm well aware that not all timers set in awkward times for EU players are set by or for people in other time zones, several nations are or have done it for various reasons. It's appearant that things do need to change with timers though.
But anyway, This thread is NOT a port battle timer or EU people only on PVP1 type of discussion.
Problem is, because of theses timers. People are actually LEAVING the game, and not on US or Australian side, but ALSO on EU because of that.
So yeah, if I had to choose over loosing US and Non-EU player, or everybody from everyplace. I'd rather have EU only.
People on US are leaving other PvP server because some already did that and thus the PvP 1 got bigger population. AND IT CREATE EVEN MORE PROBLEM.
Seriously, if every US go back to US server, the population on other PVP server woud already be much better.

Australian is like on the other side of the world compared to the US.

It has been pretty great so far. Even if there was some minus: some day without real Resistance from your part, probably trying to stop the Pirates and cie.
There was also some timer, but hey. I guess it's War. (In fact, for sometimes, we were bored because they was NO resistance. :/ Same thing happened yesterday probably because of the period we are in.)
Too bad we got trashed yesterday, Easter Week-End wasn't a friendly time for us to play. Lots of people were apparently still eating at 22pM!
(Yeah, because let's be honest... Timers weren't from time to time fairplay.)
Still, congrats to you and I look forward to fighting your tea drinkers in the future!
