It's not a matter of being proud of setting timers to that. We just don't have any other choice if we want to slow the French down as best we can. Thus.

It is certainly not the best time, i think i would rather see a new window between 19 and 22 or 20 23.
But there's a difference between attacking at midnight and at 3AM or 4AM.
That's a little bit too "tryhard" mentality honestly. I think you guys forgot that it's just a game.
Talking about sleep deprivation in order to fight the others is just not fair-play and it won't obviously create a good atmosphere. The Port Windows were originally not designed for that, and even if the Danes/Pirates are doing it, you shouldn't feel proud to do it too.
People tend to do that, sadly.
When it's Role Playing, it can be ok.
But when it's not... It can become a really bad time.

This is a sandbox. Your nation is here to protect the "safezones" for your low level players. If your Flag Captains and Admirals let us to kill smaller ships right at your doorstep, it is only their failure to protect their own territory.
I am pyrat for a reason. I seek ships to kill and plunder solo or in small group. I do not participate in port battles because I do not want to be someones monkey. The experienced players should seek and destroy outlaws like me, not crying that I am preying on newbs or smaller ships.
PS: The Snow I killed tagged me (I had no intention to engage him) and the brig was actually a Post Captain. Yes, I have captured an AFK player, but who goes AFK in sandbox, deserves to die, or lose assets. This game is all about OW awareness. There were Trincos and Renommees out there and they did not even try to help their mates just because they are scared of PVP in anything else than captured AI 3rd rate. Cheers.

Yes sure, taking out Belle Poule and Cutter with Renommee is seal clubbing and what the hell are you talking about? No fighting zone? I must laugh into your face sir.
All of them got 2 minutes to receive help from your mighty nation, but your Trincos and Frigs were just too scared to PVP and help them out.
You are just gank nation, nothing more, nothing less. The only thing that Britain achieved was destroying the Spanish super underpopulated nation. Your war effort against Pirates or Danes proves that.
While, there is no "safe zone".
I don't think it's actually a good thing to actually pursue every guy you face.
Maybe make some neutral ground? Or warning on the chat about the risk?
Some guys don't read the forum and some are actually new. They don't always know what's going on around them.

The fact that the ports were undefended proves only that the ports were undefended. you will also see that they were no longer properly defended during the day either. Even the Aus players have to be fighting at other places at 2AM, there are pirates to fight then. we do not have enough AUS players do defend everywhere either.
You are basicly saying we are dishonourable for having a big empire, that somehow this is us unfairly ruining the game. that is all.
When we capture a port 25v0 in the middle of the night you accuse us of 'not having jobs' and 'being cowards' or even 'exploiting'. when you do it, it is brave. When your entire nation gets rolled over and you surrender (because no one was defending your ports) thats fine. when you then do whatever the danes tell you to do, thats fine. but when the british can defend every single port, we are dishonourable?
What? you just will use any excuse to say it, it does not make it true. we had a good 3 days of very close fighting between the french and british in panama and petty people like you seek to ruin it here. the war was done in good spirit and it was a lot of fun. however the british had to leave to go to Jamaica, so if anyone is ruining the fighting it is you, by doing it with the danes instead of on your own. if you want a good honourable war, leave the danish slavery and come on your own without spanish, danes and pirates helping you in other places to make sure we cant properly fight back.
Is it honourable to keep fighting us when you know we cannot fight back?

I do not think the Goal of the France is to destroy the Great Britain, more gaining lands on the South and keeping there fighting spirit.
Beside, calling him Hypocrite is pretty laughtable, considering what has been done with Buena Vista, but that is in the past now.

The most important thing is that we Brits finally started fighting as a true Nation. I'm a solo player and yesterdey I got involved in 4 different actions. Many other players did the same thing. I have to say "thank you" first of all to our clans (you really did a marvellous job guys
), then to our enemies. You Danes are such a strong opponent (chapeau to you) that you forced us to become better players and a true nation. Now I know that every single captain sailing alongside me is ready to fight till the last man, till the last ship to defend and protect every single bit of our land. Huzzah!!!! 
Be careful not to fight to the last grass of tea.

I'm afraid I don't understand what point you are trying to make with your edit. Can you clarify?
Basicly, people don't complain about US putting there US prime time because it is made against US Player; so player who got the same Prime Time.
Same goes for EU against EU player.
But:
If during a war player of US put a timer to US Prime Time to face EU Player who have a completly different Prime Time. It will make it extremely difficult for the EU to follow it since the US Prime Time is when the EU are SLEEPING.

For the current case, there was THIS with Australian putting Australian time to face EU player (so again in a time where it was difficult for us to play since the human body require sleep.) But there was in bonus the fact the town attacked was supposedly unattackable because the timer was set for EU. Yet it apparently did not work because the Brits could place the timer they wanted. (Work in Progress I guess dev?

Did you know that the Ausez clan holds about 40 ports? That means an Australian clan holds nearly half of the British ports. If it's unfair for them to set their ports for their prime time, then it's unfair for US/EU clans to set their ports for their prime times.
The problem is bigger than that.
How do you want people on DIFFERENT Time Zone that sparse be able to actually play without this kind of problem?

It really has been the rally it was meant to be. I have never seen the coast of Jamaica so active and filled with players working together. The Danish presence has worked wonders for our unity and the extra PvP is always welcome.
I hope this restores faith in the British Council Clans. We did not abandon our home. We came back to protect it and restore a safe-ground for our newer players.
Also a good occasion to make supply of tea don't you think?

Real attack was New Edingbhurg.
Pleyon was actually a PvP battle more here to bring down the more ship we could and have some fun in PvP. The city was actually secondary.
I wonder how I would feel if I had commited an expensive ship to a port attack, fought a large defense fleet, lost my ship and on the next day would get my allies smear on the forum that that attack "wasn't a real attack".
I'd probably get mad.

Except one thing. This is NOT the battle for Pleyon, but it was the blocus attack for New Edinbhurg. And that one was made to prevent you from reaching the PB of N.Edinburg.
