have you tried turning it off and switching it back on again....just saying -
I would like to see an option to vote 'in-game' every day on national status ie I am British so i would vote on all other nations ' status'. Votes are collected at maintenance - and everyone has to abide the decision for the next day. To be allied both nations would have to win a majority for 'Allied' after maintenance all allied rules apply - ie can enter ports, go pirate if you attack them etc

Faster teleports at a cost to the player?

It's a REALISTIC Naval simulation game - do away with the crappy teleports altogether, did Sir Francis Drake have a teleport - i think not - if you want teleports etc - go play World of Warcraft, what next? Enchanted Cannons? sheesh....
