I have, William Blackthorne on PvP 2.

Same just happened to me, but it's not tied to "create new character". I had characters on each of the servers. Logged out of PvP 2 yesterday afternoon. Logged in to an existing character on PvP 1 to look at the map today around lunch. Logged into my main on PvP 2 right after that, hours 0. Wiped over 1000 hours. This is overkill for "abuse". If I spend the hours on one server, it should spend them on all, sure. But it shouldn't wipe them across the board by logging from one server to another.

Here's an easy fix. Just make the game like 20 years earlier. Give the French back the Fleur de Lis. Hand Florida entire over to the Spanish. And just remove the USA faction. Problem solved.

I'm not saying it's not stable, I'm saying improve to the point where merging servers is a real possibility. As for expansion? The world is the limit. North to do the coast of Canada, and South around Cape Horn to open up the west side of South and Central America. Over to Europe to open up battles in the English Channel, or the "Triangular Trade" routes. Even the Pacific - The East Indies. Or China - with few and far between ports - all Free, with amazing wares but huge investments in time to get there and no outposts. It's the Age of Sail, this is when Empire became a global concept.

Please just work on server size and stability and maybe expanding the map then just merge the damn servers and be done with it.

Would it be too much to ask for a 1 time per account permanent nation switch that includes possessions? I would love to switch now that I know a bit about the game, and am sure of where I want to end up, but I've gotten up into missions that would be very difficult to approach in a basic cutter... I know there are other ways to make money in a cutter, but I feel like I've worked hard to get to this point, but just made a decision I'm not happy about in a game with a very real grind.
