The most recent patch was partially done to address the issue of BR in port battles and more specifically the use of heavily under-crewed 3rd rates to bolster BR difference. I suggest that instead of adjusting the port battle BR numbers you simple adjust the BR of a ship based on how much crew it has. So for instance: A 3rd rate with 100% crew has a BR of 500 A 3rd rate with 50% crew has a BR of 250 A 3rd rate with 25% crew has a BR of 125 It doesn't have to be linear and it doesn't have to apply in all situations. This may also help with players that have been mostly destroyed but are just sitting far away from the battle and are an annoyance. Thoughts?

This is a fantastic idea! In the current system there are a few ships that are kind of left out to dry because of their odd number of crew. I think it would let players try a more diverse amount of ships.

I can't wait for the economy to be revamped. I am stationed out of Cabo Canaveral on PvP 2 and over the last two days I visited every single Fir port along the Florida coast and in the Bahamas looking for Fir. This journey took probably 6 hours of my time and I found ZERO fir. I finally got back to Cabo to find that someone was selling it to crafters there for 500. 500!!!!!! I literally cannot craft ships because of the lack of a single item. If I do buy the fir for 500, I will never make a profit. This is ridiculous.
