I don't do port battles. I raid trade and grow things (trees and the such). This will preclude me, I think from 1 of the 3 things I like to do. But I will await the third post mentioned by the admin.
I do worry this may impact negatively on port battles.
Once again I will await the third post the admin mentioned.
Overall. The 2/3 I have scene are good moves if the last bit ties it all together.

I have restarted 4 times. Just to try the different patches. I have never been attached to my pixel ships. Or pixel wood or iron ore. Although I was attached to my sugar plantation. I miss it lol.
Waiting for the new patch. So this is perfect timing as I will have more time. Although not about me so earlier is ok as well devs;)

Let rats, the to be introduced non nation building rats, be able to build an outpost anywhere. And limit them to lvl 1 buildings.

I would like to see the Bahamas free of national roockie capitals. It ruins the map and interesting hunting areas. I don't go there now because I am not a rookie and don't want to ruin their growth in the game. Early part of their game.

seems like a good idea. I worry about the impact on hunters and limiting their pvp.
Petrus hangs at LR, Saint Mary's and CayB all the time. Frigate with 2 surp fleet. What would he do then if this occurred?
I believe you idea has a lot of merit.

Elite. Some good thoughts and recommendations included in your post. I hope the devs see it and include in their programming.
I would like to see Admiralty led PB's or a Port Battle over several days with casus belli and war score to determine winner of port. Since taking a region should be a long epic event.

There needs to be a balance for sure between no grids and gps grids. I liked getting lost when captain Pringleton was navigating our journeys.

Work flips I can't participate in. So I understand night flips a lot. But it is only a game so meh.
I really think that the admiralty should determine port battle times at random. Or as suggested 24 or 48 hours portbattles with victory points.
It is EA and we are testing this and ironing out any issues.
Cant wait for the next patch

There are a lot of good ideas posted here and elsewhere. The devs have all of them and ones they came up with. And that is why I can't wait for the devs final version of a port battle and screening force. It will be epic. I truly beleive this. We just have to wait and test the few remaining versions they have until the final release.

I think there is more to come tomorrow that will tie this all up. I think we should all wait for the tie in.
Devs keep up the hard work. If your vision is for PB game then that is your vision and solo players that craft and the such will have to see IF and HOW they will fit in.
