  1. Wow nice, i also had those ideas . I even made plans how to load and fire guns multiple times, when i was a kid.

    But if i where you i would take the smallest ship possible so your scale would not be too small even when its a 5 foot long vessel.

    Because of the fact that the cannons will need a lot of detailled work especially when you want to be able to raise and lower them. ( u will also need to make 3D plans for it and be 1ble to forge them)

    I must suggest if you never have build models before or little mechanic pieces, you must first try smaller models to increase your skills and learn that those projects can take like around 5 years to complete... (trully)

    What u also could do is firST build it the simple way and then after if STill not satisfied, you could modify it as you wish.

    I sencerelly hope you would find a way to build it and complete it, becaus there arent that many projects in this world.

    I only occupy myself with ww2 models and wooden ships. Maybe when i am a bit older i will do a project like yours because i already made primitive plans for it

  2. Yes, wipe will erase it all in a few months.  But really, we need to stop with this exploit.  Admin told me on October 12th the exploit was fixed in the dev build and is coming next patch.  I think a patch is coming this week or next but that is just a rumor/guess.

     

     

    Another possible exploit is this:  1 player with 5 durability Constitution.  Go into battle, capture another ship.  Release the Constitution.  Teammate captures the Constitution, breaks it up for recipe chance, repeat 4 more times.  Build another Constitution, repeat.

    In my eyes this is really not an exploit, you lose ships, and have chance of gaining nothing...

    So you have no point here (but thats my opinion ofcourse)

  3. Well. before crafting anything you will have to clear one slot. There were no item teleporting machines back then.

    Thats not what i meant :)

    i meant that if you had no more room left you have to make room yourself and take some items and sail with them in your cargo to drop them off in another port's warehouse.(but that is already the case i hope)

  4. Oh yeah if the blueprint you have, when building it has a chance of generating other bp sheets , i think it is only fair to let them take a slot then.

    But are the warehouses as filled as everywhere in each port, or is it possible to take pieces and drop them of in another porst, when your warehause is full?

    We will fix this the following patch (hopefully)

    Crafting anything that could generate a blueprint will require 1 empty slot in the warehouse.

  5. If memory serves me right, the mortar shells fired from bomb vessels were fitted with a fuse. The artillerist would cut the fuse to a specific length which, when combined with the right charge of powder and correct mortar elevation, would result in the shell exploding just above the target.

     

    However, this isn't a technique you'd be able to use to snipe at masts in a battle - bomb vessels were only ever used against stationary targets. They'd be firmly anchored, which when fitted with springs could precisely adjust the ship's bearing. Ranges and angles would be painstakingly calculated; even after that, a deal of trial and error would be involved. Employing mortars from an un-moored, moving vessel at sea, against moving targets, would be utterly impractical. I gather that this wasn't the case when bomb vessels appeared briefly in game... it really should be, before they reappear.

  6. I would like to see a game that has several games included.

    Lets say, one during the roman empire, one during the middle ages, one during the nopoleonic wars, one during the world wars, and one duribg modern society.

    All those games are connected in a way that when you build a city for example at a sertain place it would become availeble too on the other ages aboveve that area at the same place. And people could upgrade it and use the knowledge of that certain place that previous players have created there.

    I know its quite intruiging and difficult to understand.

    But it needs some more thinking

    This can also be interesting for the devs and the naval photographers, to enlightem themselves even more abouth that age.

  8. Précise ta demande, tu entend quoi par armure ? Une cuirasse ou un doublage de la carène ?

     

    Si cuirasse : alors tu n'es pas dans la bonne époque. ce type de navire arrive plus tard, avec les vaisseaux (ou frégate) cuirassés. c'est anachronique à la période couverte pas le jeu.

     

    Si doublage : oui, il peut y en avoir, mais ce n'est pas du métal, seulement des feuilles de cuivres.

    C'est parçe que la "USS Constitution" elle as une cuirasse. Pourca quelle se fesait surnomer le bateaux invincible.

    Et elle est aussi dans le jeux bien sure...

     

    ici dessous est çe que je voulais dire. C'est ma version optimaliser de la "MHS President".
