  1. Wow... Austro-Hungarian Empire really knows something. I play as Japan, we are at war, and despite they are on the other side of the world, and they have all their ships in their ports, they still manage to blockade me...
  2. There is. You could always make copy of a refit, but could not build it. But it was fixed some patches ago, so now you can just copy your latest refit, and build them. (And IIRC it counts as if it was a refit of the original hull, so further refit plans of the original can be applied to them too. I think I could do that, but not sure ).
  3. Happened me too, twice in a few hours of play. First time a CA, second time a BB started with 0% hull.
  4. I saw these VP numbers on the battle results screen. But the point is, the evaluation of a battle needs to be more... realistic? Sensible? The first step should be generating more realistic objectives for a battle, even if this "won or lost" mechanic stays. For example - in a random convoy raid, I don't see how only 100% of enemy transport sank is the only positive outcome. A lower percentage should be enough for any sensible admiral And even then the evaluation is not all right now. Example: second battle - defend my convoy. Objective: protect at least 50% of transports. It's a sensible objective. The enemy turned and run, never even saw them. Not a single shot fired, all transport safe and sound. Evaluation: draw. Come on! I don't mean to bash the game, I understand that these things, that are easy for the human mind, are quite the challenge for the AI. Just want to provide some feedback, because this campaign can be great!
  5. Okay, very first impressions: the victory conditions and evaluation of a battle needs lots of work. These strict "yes or no" conditions are just silly. First battle: large convoy. Sink all enemy transports. So, I sank 10 of the 12 transports, with light damage of the warships of both sides, and of course, I was defeated for not fulfilling the criteria. It means the enemy got 7 VP for losing 83% of his transports... does it sound right?
  6. No, this didn't helped. No suprise, since the slow progress happened at the applying patch phase, not at download. (However, this DOES speed up download, so useful tip ). But after uninstall, reainstalling the game was not slow, so I hope updates will go at normal speed in the future, and it was only some kind of file corruption on my end.
  7. Almost every day, I have to update according to the launcher, and it takes ages. Today it was a 0,1 MB update, and it applies the patch for half an hour now. Before that some time ago, for a bigger update it took all evening (2-3 hours) to install. Usually the Applying patch phase that takes forever. My hardware quite good, and no other programs has any problems. I know, every idiot thinks that, but for example Ultimate Admiral Dreadnought easily installs a few hundred MB patch in minutes. But for UA:AoS the same thing takes hours.
  8. For a while it was on like SpixTalon's first picture, for me too. Didn't matter, if I took two fifth rates, or four 60 pts ships, whatever... a similar composition greeted me. Until some days ago around the weekend I got one like on the second pic. I don't know, if it was fixed, or just got lucky
  9. Thanks for the fix, and it's good to know, what's the cause of the restrictions, it's totally understandable know.
  10. Yes, with this dumb time-lock, it's not really playable... I can't comprehend, who thought that it'd be a good idea.
