Tell new players how to start

I saw the gameplay of the battles and was immediately excited. Enough to buy.

 

Now I'm into it 10 hours, feels like a horrible grind, I have enough cash to buy a ship, but haven't because I'm afraid of losing hours of work. And that's really the crappy part. As someone who just jumped in and tried to figure the game out it feels like work, with the possibility of losing everything you work for.

 

So in 10 hours I went from really exited, to really disappointed and regretting the purchase.
