I need help modding

*Is it possible to change torpedo damage?

*Where are the "build requirements" kept? I want to build pure gunboat DDs.

*How can submarines be removed? I tried removing them for the "technologies" file but the game crashed/couldn't load!

*Is there any way to remove mines? For the same reason as the subs above.

*Where are the gun ranges kept?

*Is it possible to buff certain ammunition types? I feel that things like SAP and Capped HE are a tad little bit underpowered.

*Can I introduce larger calibres to ships? Like 6" for large DDs.

*Can I remove speed-up time limitations? I hate being restricted to 3x in 1890.

In order:
 

Yes you can change the torp damage multiplier in params

Ship types lets you mess around with the class requirements 

Rather than removing the sub techs just delete the ‘unlock’ bits of them - that way no subs are available to build

You can make the mine techs unlock in 1999 in technologies and/or set the max minefield size to be zero in params

Guns - that’s a horrible file to edit though!

Yup you can adjust shell types in technologies

Yes, also in ship types. Some hulls have specific maximums in parts as well.

Not as far as I know!
