Ritalingamer Posted February 7, 2015 Share Posted February 7, 2015 About half of the time when I load into a game, Naval Action goes blank and I get this error message from my system tray: "Display driver AMD driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered." I just installed a new graphics card - AMD Radeon 6990 - last night and I got all the latest drivers. I run the game on Medium settings, windowed, 1600x900. What can I do to fix this? Zehtuka Posted February 7, 2015 Share Posted February 7, 2015 Two questions: What card did you previously own? Did you overclock your GPU and/or your CPU? Ritalingamer Posted February 8, 2015 Author Share Posted February 8, 2015 1) I previously owned an elderly card that could not run Naval Action at all - it would not run DirectX 11. 2) Neither my GPU nor CPU are overclocked. Ritalin, the CCC is the control panel for AMD GPU's, unless you manually unchecked the box it will be installed on your system. Considering your knowledge of this appears to be limited why did you get a complex card such as the 6990 instead of a more modern single GPU?
